Checked in around 11:45 pm after a long day of travel with my family of four (kids aged 5 and 2). We booked this hotel specifically for its proximity to SeaTac for an early flight the next morning. On arrival, the front doors were locked. I waited outside for about 10 minutes in freezing conditions (-2°C) before anyone opened the door. The person who let me in couldn’t check me in, so I waited another 5 minutes for the front desk agent. No apology or acknowledgment was offered. The front desk staff was aloof and unwelcoming. My spouse and young children were waiting in the car, exhausted. This was not a great first impression, especially late at night with kids. For safety and sleep hygiene reasons, our toddler sleeps in a crib. We requested a Pack ’n Play, and charging extra for this basic infant safety accommodation felt unnecessary and inconsistent with Marriott standards, particularly for a Platinum Bonvoy member. We have stayed at many Marriott properties around the world and have never been surcharged for this basic request. No thank you. Between being left waiting in the cold, lack of basic customer service, and the unexpected surcharge requested , this stay fell well below expectations.

Very clean, with a full shower (no bath, though) and a great shuttle that got is to and from the airport quickly. Also, breakfast was great: it's not free but much, much better than what is usually on offer at other hotels. Well worth the extra bucks.
