The resort is very nice. Great area. However the unit we had needed much updating. Unit 1306. Refrigerator made noise. Kitchen faucet leaked and the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are so old they are sticky and dirty from the varnish swearing away. We have stayed here many times and love the area.

We were very excited to stay at this resort; my wife has been a Hilton Honors member for many years so we generally know what to expect. We picked this resort and found Expedia had the best pricing so we didn’t book directly through her Honors and we knew we would likely be asked to sit through a timeshare presentation. Check in was fast and easy and as expected the push for the timeshare came with 150 gift card promise. We noted that we already had a timeshare elsewhere but the lovely customer service rep was doing her job and stated it’s only 90 minutes and we would be rewarded for our time so we signed up. We were told if you need to reschedule let us know and we will take care of everything- perfect we thought as we were in Sedona to enjoy hiking and various experiences. We had to reschedule because of an excursion and this process again easy. We arrived promptly for our time slot (which was made by the team knowing we were were checking out that morning and had another destination to get to). The timeshare staff initially pleasant checked us in…we waited anxiously as we were told only 90 minutes - as the gentleman met us for the presentation we reminded him that we would need to check out as planned and another salesperson rudely stated that wasn’t going to happen; we needed to reschedule or leave and forgo the gift card. The staff after this was RUDE; we never received our gift card and deserve more given the treatment!

Having been in sefona 3 times, this was my first at the ridge. The property is beautiful! Classy and tastefully done, i could live there. The property offers a scavenger hunt (easy and hard), 3 dvds to watch out of 100 movie titles to choose, board games to take to your room, a pool and 3 hot tubs (even one for 14 yr old and over), human sized chess board, complimentary laundry (some have w/d in their rooms otherwise there are machines free and secure for guests to use including complimentary laundry detergent), golf, driving range, etc. It's a welcoming experience for the whole family. The only thing I could say the improve would be better signage/directionals to find the front desk and other buildings. I went to multiple buildings and then someone in their staff was so sweet to escort me to the correct biilding to check in. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
