This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many of the sites, lots of excellent restaurants near by - it was quiet for being in a big city, my only issue was the heat, I could not turn it down and in fact had to open the window at night for sleeping - I loved this hotel so much I would stay here again if in the area

Concierge and front desk were the standout, so polite and attentive! Great people to practice our very limited Korean. Location could not have been better: 6001 and 6015 airport bus dropped us steps away from the hotel, night market was behind the building, 7-elevens everywhere, Michelin star restaurant right on the corner, and so much more we didn't have time to explore. Will definitely book this hotel again!

I was quite disappointed with my stay at L7. First, the floor when we entered our room was sticky, and I felt that the room wasn’t very clean. I was also a little disappointed that their late check out was 1pm, as normally at this price point in Asia, they make accommodation for 2pm check out. This was fine except the morning of check out, our room had NO HOT WATER. This was unacceptable to me, I’ve never stayed at a hotel that ran out of hot water. While the issue was promptly taken care of, it still caused an hour delay, where we couldn’t shower & get ready for the day. Because of this, I asked for an additional 30 mins for checkout and was granted a 1:30pm check out only to be called at 1pm rushing us to check out our room. Again, this was a first for me, have never been asked to check out just a few mins after check out time, esp when we were granted a later time. Out of my 5 times to Seoul, this hotel was just as expensive as some way nicer alternatives such as Ryse, which is normally my go-to and my recommendation for anyone who’s willing to spend ~$250-300/night

Recommended hotel to stay, location is excellent in myeongdong and service is very very good. Rooma were clean and spacious. However, there were only 2 laundry washers and 2 dryers for the entire hotel. It wasnt enough and caused a long queue. Also the roof top bar only served whole bottles of wines with no options for other drinks and food. Some improvement required in that.

L7 Myeongdong is one of the better hotels I have stayed. Indeed 4* as stated. Clean room and very friendly staff (receptionists and the staff at level 1 lobby will greet you with smiles every time. Safety is ensued with staff there). It is conveniently located just in front of Myeongdong station exit 9 & many good eateries nearby. Love it that it’s at the outskirt of Myeongdong night shopping street so it’s not noisy. I am going to try other L7 hotels with this good experience. Two areas to improve are to install hooks in the shower area. I do wish that the laundry machines function as both washer and dryer (just like Japan’s) as I have to come down separately 2 times. Thank you.

The hotel is situated very close to the Myeondong metro station, which is the meeting point for many organized touristic activities. The hotel was always very clean and the staff were friendly and respectful. I would gladly use this hotel for a future vacation in Seoul.
