Great location near public transportation and popular site seeing areas. Highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of Myeongdong area. Laundry facilities were outside with two washers and dryers.

Check in was super easy, staff was very friendly we were up to our room in record time. Our flight came in at 8:40pm so by the time we came to the hotel (riding the airport limo bus) it was almost 11pm. It was so convenient having a GS25 convenience store connected to the hotel and we were able to grab food and eat ramen at the store as it was equipped with hot water dispenser, a microwave and a little dining area to eat. There are maps available in the lobby for those who needed it. Staff always greeting us as we came and went. For convenience there were magnets to be placed on your door letting the staff know if you wanted your room made or if you didn't want to be disturbed. The hotel was within the shopping street and night market, vendor's for food would be out by 4pm. Restaurants and stores were all over. There were red angels *(folks in red shirts and caps) in the streets to help you with maps and guide you where you want to go. The hotel had a scale in the lobby entrance so you can check if your luggage was within the 23kg/50lbs limit. At our early morning check out another friendly staff was there when we returned our rooms and thanked us and bade us a safe flight home. Thank you Savoy Hotel for an awesome stay, we will choose you again for our next visit to South Korea!

The stay was disappointing. We paid $285 for two twin beds, plus $40 for an extra bed—far too expensive for what we got. The location was inconvenient, and the overall condition was poor. The ceiling was damaged, and we had to sleep with the lights on all night. There was no in-room washer. Definitely not worth the price—this felt like a 2-star hotel at best.

The property is centrally located. For the price you are paying for the location but the rooms are a little older and I don’t think the virus keeper was working in our room. The staff and very friendly and helpful. I would say the price is in line with the facility being a 3 star hotel.

It's located inside Myeongdong, but close to subway station. It is a very busy part of town especially at night, but my room was located facing the courtyard, so it was not noisy at all. Street food and shops are right outside the main entrance, so that was nice for any cheap late-night snacks. Staff were polite and spoke enough English to get by. Rooms were a bit on the smaller size but for its location its good trade off.

Bathroom is a hazard, location good

Right in the middle of myeongdong. Public transport are a few steps away. You need to step up at least 25cms ( as high as a 2lt bottle!) to get into the bathroom. The bathroom door height is like 5feet. Very hazardous to kids or older people as its quite an effort to go in the bathroom. Quite pricey for an old hotel. Rusts and stains on the doors. Luggage storage for more than a day is not free! They charge u per day u leave ur luggage with them.

There are 2 hotel entrances which are a bit difficult to find at first but look out for the hotel sign boards. Staff are very helpful when I had problems with wifi and heating. Rooms will be subject to noise/music from the streets.

Perfect base to explore from

We booked this hotel to be a base from which to explore Seoul and it was perfect for that. Right in the heart of a busy area of Seoul so plenty to see on your doorstep, shops, restaurants and street food stalls are all around. Walkable distance to the N tower and the palace. Great location.

I enjoyed that we go out the property busy buzzling Myeondong merchants are right about everywhere. I’m a tourist and really loved and enjoyed that. The staffs are great, we could have given them 6 stars if we can. For the price we pay, I would say that the property is really reasonable. If I’m ever back in Korea, I would stay with Savoy Hotel again. Gamsahamnida!

My stay at the Savoy Hotel was incredible, and the staff made the experience even better. The level of service was exceptional, and I will definitely book my future stays there whenever I visit. The hotel is situated in a fantastic area with a wide variety of restaurants, shopping markets, and malls nearby. It's within walking distance of popular sightseeing spots, and there are plenty of 24-hour convenience stores around, making it easy to grab a late-night snack. Overall, the hotel is excellent, and I highly recommend it.
