Mostly positive experience.

The staff were truly wonderful. We arrived from the airport 5 hours before check-in time and just expected to drop off our bags and go out - but they were able to get our room cleaned and got us checked in instead. Really great. They were way above average in all our other dealings with them too. But the room was tiny and difficult to survive in for 3 days. It would be worthwhile paying extra for a bigger room. The location is excellent!

Lovely staff, great location and breakfast was quite good too. Rooms are small and it's hard to accomodate 2 suitcases especiallt as the space for hanging clothes was very small. We enjoyed our stay here however and loved Seoul!!!

Stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of my trip. Convenient location a short walk from the subway station and just down the road from the picturesque Jogyesa temple. I could also walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, Insadong shopping street etc. Very comfortable clean room with a nice view out over the city. Friendly helpful staff. Great cafe in the hotel lobby, recommend the chicken salad and strawberry smoothies there. I was also able to leave my suitcase a few days in advance of my second stay when I was doing an ovenright trip to Jeonju. Would stay here again.

This hotel is great for it's walk-ability to all tourist attractions. The rooms were super clean. The staff was great at the front desk. The drawbacks are the breakfast buffet and the limited selection at the restaurant. Fortunately there is a nice cafe across the street from the hotel where you can have breakfast.

The hotel offered great amenities like laundry, gym, nice restaurant. The staff was helpful, and the room itself exceeded my expectations. The one criticism I have is the fact that a guest attempted to enter my unit by banging on my door multiple times after 12:30 am while I was sleeping. It really scared me. I immediately called down to the front desk, and the gentleman at concierge was quick to help me and make sure I was safe. I would suggest the hotel code the keys to only be able to access the floor assigned to the guest, as well as common areas where amenities are. The person banging on my door confused his floor with mine- and it was a very scary experience while being alone in the room.

Good hotel at best location

The huge advantage of this hotel is its location - it couldn't be better. Important metro stations are close by, parks and sights in the northern part of the city are a few minutes' walk away, and the pleasantly lively Insadong Street is just around the corner. The design of the hotel is pleasant, the staff impeccable, the room facilities at the necessary level. The overall rating is brought down, for the standard and price of the hotel, by a rather average breakfast with a below average selection of pastries, cheeses and cold cuts.

Perfect pick for my first solo trip to Korea

Comfortable room, good breakfast buffet and perfect location since it is 5-10 minute walk to 2 subway station lines, Anguk and Jongno station (Orange and Blue lines respectively), as well as several bus stops option. The neighborhood is also quiet at night and safe.

Excellent hotel located close to most sites of interest (generally walkable). Standard rooms are clean but small with little storage space for luggage. Staff are welcoming and willing to help. Breakfast is good but not stunning in terms of variety. If in Seoul for several days, get the Climate Card for unlimited bus and metro plus drop off at the airport with the Arex express train.
