The two-bedroom flat, renovated in 2022, is built entirely of stone (warm in winter and cool in summer).
With separate access and entrance and its own private terrace under a jasmine arbour, it overlooks your garden and private pool area, right next to the vegetable garden. A cosy nest for a family of four. A laundry room (with washing machine) on the ground floor allows you to store your luggage so as not to clutter up your apartment.
You have access to a summer kitchen area with barbecue, a terrace with garden table and parasol.
My grandfather fell in love with the area and, when we were children, it was always a treat to come here in the summer, firstly because the village (which has just celebrated its 1000th anniversary) is built on a promontory overlooking the mountains with a unique view of the Canigou, and secondly because the 13-hectare property (with holm oaks, chestnut trees, birches and lime trees) can be reached via a bucolic, almost secret forest path. And then there's the spring... it's a little like something out of a Pagnol novel. My uncle's old bicycle sits enthroned under a forest of bamboo. You'll be tempted to stroll along the paths to the river or explore the forest (we have 12 hectares and a small river). During the fishing season, it is the starting point for the surrounding rivers, in summer we swim and run in the mountains towards the Cabrens towers.

Autumn is the perfect time to go mushroom hunting (caesars' mushrooms, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles). Families will enjoy the peace and quiet, with no roads crossing the property and children free to roam...
You will love our village and the Haut Vallespir, rich in discoveries of all kinds. The Falgos golf course is just over fifteen minutes away and Spain is a stone's throw away. We will give you some good addresses. Welcome to Petite Madou, in Catalan country.
