Guests are just next door to the Nuova Nube chairlift, which transports skiers from Sestriere up to the Colle Banchetta area situated at 2,530 meters. Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, has a lot to offer throughout the year. In winter, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor heated swimming pool which is open in the winter and summer seasons. Restaurants and bars are less than a 10-minute walk away. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.

Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows and enjoy grass skiing. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings. Turin airport is a 1 hour and 40 minute drive from the apartment.
