We did not stay at A Piece of Heaven. We arrived and unpacked and found out we had no water.Through the best efforts of the Cove Mountain Campground. Resorts and Realty they were able to put us into the owners rental which was gorgeous. They saved our vacation big time.

Cleanliness was Disappointing

The water smelled awful. Now in their defense they tried to message me through VRBO and I didnt get it until we were there. Texting makes much more sense. There were cobwebs everywhere and everything was pretty outdated. But it was charming otherwise. Location was AMAZING. Get the water fixed, make some minor updates and you'll be good to go!

Review

We did enjoy our stay however it was not as clean as we expcected. There was urine or a yellow liquid in the floor of the downstairs bathroom in front of the sink. And the smell that the water had was pretty awful smelled like suldir reqlly bad. sulfur really bad.

The place lived up to it's name. There was only one problem with the hot tub the jets worked sporadically the button did not work. We also had a couple mice in the house but we took care of that.

Didnt stay in cabin but to sleep, very outdated, I thought I wss in the early 90's again..

App took us to the wring location almost 20 miles away in the mountains to another cabin which had the same name... Update the App, I'm sure im not the only one this has happened to..

Pretty good

For the most part it was as advertised, had a little trouble finding it but the communication was very good and took us right there. We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed with a few things, no hangers anywhere so take your own, we were there for a week & the only toilet paper was what was on the dispenser. So had to buy hangers & tp. My wife had to clean the windows on the doors to the deck, they were filthy. Other than that we had a good stay, loved the neighborhood peacock that came by every morning, & spent the night either on the deck roof or the tree in front of the deck. Overall, I would recommend, cozy cabin for the 2 of us. I would rent from them again, probably one of their others, just a little bigger. Thank you for an enjoyable week.

Nice Property

The property was very clean and functional. I was a little disappointed in the yard space, closeness of neighbors, and the back deck being accessible from the front parking. We had our fur baby with us and this property was not really feasible for a pet. Overall great property and close to downtown Piegon Forge and shopping!

A little outdated but good rental for the price

We found this cabin to be fair for the price. It is definitely in need of some upgrades but we were comfortable. It was just my husband and me so we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the small hot tub on the deck. We do recommend the property owner consider some small upgrades, though. The living room furniture definitely needs to be replaced and a non-slip mat or strips for the shower. The shower is very slippery. New vent registers would also be a small but great improvement. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.
