Welcome to Bear Freedom, our rustic yet cozy cabin at the top of Sky Harbor mountain, located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It offers scenic mountain views from all decks, a relaxing hot tub and tons of amenities such as HD TV's, games and a fully equipped kitchen. It's centrally located to the top attractions: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Anakeesta, and so much more! (Pet friendly (2) for a fee)

Bear Freedom offers a warm, cozy place to relax with a view like no other! This cabin offers the quiet and simple luxuries for you to enjoy during your stay in the Great Smoky Mountain Area. It has plenty of outdoor space for you to enjoy the views from atop the mountain while you watch for local wildlife or just sit back and relax in the hot tub. Bear Freedom offers that quiet, serene place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.



Inside the cabin on the main level, you will find all the comforts of home to include a kitchen equipped with all common cooking utensils and pots and pan set. The kitchen is also supplied with plating needs for up to 6 people. The main level also includes an updated full bathroom and a living room with access to the back deck. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and Roku TV.



This cabin’s upper and lower levels can be accessed via spiral staircases. The first staircase leads to the upper loft and second bedroom with a queen size bed. Also, upstairs you will find board games for the kids as well as a second TV with Roku device.



The lower level is also accessed via a spiral staircase and is completely updated master suite with a private bathroom and laundry access. No master suite would be complete without your very own deck and hot tub.



Located in Sky Harbor, between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, this property offers convenient travel time of approximately a 10-15-minute drive to either destination. The Sky Harbor HOA provides some of the best mountain roads in the area. All roads to the cabin are paved. Steep inclines and curves do not make this cabin motorcycle or trailer friendly and 4-wheel drive or front wheel drive may be needed in inclement weather. Available parking for 2-3 vehicles.



Guest Access:

Guests access the cabin with an access code for the automated door lock.



Other Things to Note:

★ STARTER KITS ★

We do supply a starter kit including bar soap, liquid dish soap, dish tabs for dishwasher, toilet paper, laundry pod and paper towels. This will prevent you to have to go to the store the first night but plan to buy more so you are covered during the full length of your stay.



★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.



★ PETS ALLOWED ★

We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. (Contact us about the additional fees)



★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★

Please refrain from smoking inside the home! Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees.



★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.

As parents, we know that traveling with the kiddos requires additional luggage. To simplify your stay, we have a pack and play and a high chair for your convenience.



★ NATURE ★

Being in nature means you may encounter some wildlife. Inside the cabin, you might see some harmless insects despite our regular pest control process. They sometimes make their way in between cleans but rest assured that the place is treated regularly. Also, if you are lucky enough to spot any bears, raccoons, turkeys, or mice outside, please keep them there! They are all attracted to the smell of cooking food and garbage. We highly recommend you don't invite them to dinner and DO NOT FEED THEM.

Fireplace is off from April 1st to September 30th.
