Flint House - perinteinen Sheringham-mökki, jossa on kierre

Kun etsimme loma-asuntoa, meidät vedettiin Sheringhamiin ja löysimme meille täydellisen mökin, joka on meille vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä upea ranta ja kaupungin keskusta. Lisää tähän maastossa olevaan pysäköintiin ja turvalliseen puutarhaan. Se tekee upeasta lomasta, jossa voit pysäköidä ja kävellä vain kaikkialle, mitä tarvitset viikon ajan.

Kahdessa alakerrassa olevassa päähuoneessa, joissa molemmissa on runsaasti tilaa, on tilaa perheelle, vaikka sataakin. Meillä on televisioita molemmissa huoneissa (amazon prime toisessa ja freeview toisessa), pelejä ja kirjoja tarvittaessa. On myös alakerran wc.

Keittiössä on kaikki tarvitsemasi tarvikkeet sekä pesukone ja astianpesukone, jotka ovat mielessämme välttämättömiä loma-asioita.

Kaappien portaita ylöspäin (nämä ovat melko jyrkkiä) on kaksi kahden hengen makuuhuonetta, kylpyhuone ja erillinen wc. Ylimmässä kerroksessa on toinen makuuhuone, jossa kaksi erillistä sänkyä.

Sheringhamilla on paljon tarjottavaa upealta pääkadulta, jolla on paljon riippumattomia kauppoja, Pikku Theartre ja Poppy-höyryjunajohto.
Tietenkin on myös ranta, paljon golfkenttiä ja loistava sijainti tutustua Pohjois-Norfolkiin edelleen, jos haluat.

The house in Sheringham was perfect - tasteful, spacious, cosy and well equipped! The short walk into town made for exploring the high street, visiting the beach and tasting the mix of coffee shops. The car parking space was a cherry on the cake, meaning we could come and go as we pleased. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden, meaning they could explore with peace of mind. We had a really wholesome stay over New Years, and felt Phil maintain good communication throughout which was reassuring for first tine visitors. We really hope to return again soon!

This house was one of the best that I’ve stayed in- clean, tidy, enclosed garden, beautifully decorated and a fab space. Plenty of games and books to entertain the family. Ideal location for Sheringham and for walks along the Norfolk Coastal Path. The host was easy to contact and extremely helpful- including having the heating on ready for our arrival. We will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely place to stay. Everything you could need was available in the house. Off-street parking was essential. Fully enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and we made use of the garden furniture too.The stairs are certainly steep, but this is stated in the property details.Phil is very approachable and welcoming as a host.

Lovely quirky property, great garden, ideal for dogs downstairs. We loved being close to shops, beach & restaurants. We didn't use attic bedroom stairs too tight & steep. All rooms clean & fresh but bathroom needs an overhaul. We enjoyed our stay thank you

Flint House Holiday Cottage

My stepdaughter, partner, daughter (18) and son (15) spent a very happy week in this comfortable and well-placed cottage in Sheringham. The off-road parking was invaluable as was the proximity of the shops, the railway station and the beach.

Family break

A short break with my daughter, her partner and 5 year old. House had enough space for me to get a bit of separation from the others which I needed at times. I was able to charge my car at the nearby Tesco and there were enough local activities to keep an active boy amused. Easy walk to the sea.

Great half term break

What a lovely place

After 15 months of waiting because of Lockdowns and the like we got to Flint House. here! Well worth the wait! A really pleasant and very well appointed letting just a short walk from the centre of Sheringham. Spacious and comfortable downstairs with an excellent lounge and a very spacious kitchen diner area. A nice garden space for outside eating. The house host is excellent and communicated well with us. We will look to re-book the next time we visit the area.

Wonderful seaside break

Holidaying during a pandemic had challenges, but the quality of our accommodation was not one of them. Before we travelled, Phil was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to my queries. We arrived at check-in time and had no problems collecting the key and getting straight in. Then we dashed straight to the high street (couple of minutes walk) for ice-creams and a stroll by the sea! Barely used the car all week - Sheringham is a lovely town and the cottage is well positioned for the shops and the sea-front. We went for lovely walks, played on the beach, ate ice-cream and fish and chips and I even had a very quick swim!

Autumn holiday

Very pleasant roomy house ,with excellent parking.We had a very comfortable stay while there for the week,Just a few points to help with the creature comforts.A four slice toaster would be nice.A couple of large mirrors near plug points In the bedrooms would be nice especially useful for ladies trying todo their hair.There is some damp appearing in the top bedroom and needs addressing especially as it’s been raining.Other wise a very nice break.
