Spend your days wandering through Sidmouth’s independent shops, cafes and galleries, or pick up some local treats and head to Connaught Gardens, where colourful displays and sweeping sea views make the perfect spot for a picnic or a quiet afternoon with a book. Seaton is 10 miles away and offers another beautiful beach, along with the popular Seaton Tramway. The historic city of Exeter (16 miles) makes an excellent day trip. Explore its magnificent cathedral, stroll along the bustling quayside, browse the shops, or discover the fascinating collections at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

Enter through the front door and into a welcoming hallway, with handy room for coats, boots and walking gear after a day exploring the area. Just beyond, the open-plan lounge/diner forms the heart of the cottage, where comfortable seating gathers around a Smart TV and crackling wood burner, creating an inviting setting for evenings together. A generous dining table sits alongside, equally suited to leisurely suppers, morning coffees or a lively board game tournament. A single step leads down into the kitchen at the rear of the property, thoughtfully equipped for preparing anything from hearty breakfasts to locally sourced feasts. A rear door opens directly onto the garden. Upstairs, the family bathroom sits to the right, with a shower over the bath. Across the landing, you'll find a charming single bedroom, while a bright and breezy king-size bedroom completes the first floor, offering a restful retreat at the end of the day.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden has been designed for easy outdoor living, featuring an artificial lawn and plenty of space to make the most of sunny afternoons. Bistro seating is available for guests, creating a sheltered spot for al fresco dining or a quiet drink in the sunshine.
