Location, service and room are great. There’s no blackout curtains though so be sure to pack your eye mask! And, it faces a square that happened to be hosting a very festive party one of the nights we stayed - so earplugs would have been good. The second night was nice and quiet so overall would recommend

Our stay was great, included breakfast, able to walk up, yes, lots of uphill to the Cathedral. The Campo was a bit further past the Cathedral, easy downhill walk. The host greeted us as planned, our checkin was smooth. Check out was also easy.I had trouble getting a taxi back to the train station, a communication problem. The walk was not too bad, there are escalators and moving walkways.

Was absolutely lovely in everyway, however if the owners raise awareness that a celebration will be going on in the square infront of the hotel until 2.00am believe them it will be VERY loud ( and later than 2.00am) and not something you can joiin in so sadly I advise to take their offer of free cancellation. Was a great place, great staff, so helpful and friendly , clean and beautifully decorated with a nice breakfast in your room. Normally this is in a very quiet convenient area with an escalator nearby right up into town. So we would definitely return and recommend this hotel when visiting Siena.

A wonderful space to stay !!! Very close to the escalators! The staff is warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We had a small issue with our air conditioner and it was addressed within an hour. One item to note, across the street is an event venue that in our case had two nights of celebrations with music into the early morning hours. The sounds easily penetrate the walls.

Great access to Siena via the escalator. Wonderful view from our room (the Brunello room) from the balcony. Nice clean room with the necessary basic Air bnb type amenities. The shower was a pain in that it had no door or curtain and leaked on the floor. Sofa bed wasn't comfortable, but I was able to pad it with the extra blankets.

Convenient location out of the fray of old town but only a few minutes from everything thanks to being at the base of the escalators (lots of them! As this is a very hilly city). Communication was great, service was attentive. They seem to be aware of their water pooling issue with the shower. Nights were loud til 11:30-12, but were late nighters. After midnight all was perfectly quiet.

Not a premium choice in Siena

Just a list of what's undesirable: 1) Use the shower, deal with a flooded bathroom 2) Blacked out windows and door (for privacy but like a prison) 3) Want a quiet room? Drumming lessons in courtyard (nice but not for 1.5 hours) and no insulation between floors so lots of noise from 2nd floor 4) No blanket and upon request, they bring a down comforter suitable for dead of winter 5) Stark and prison-like inside - no rug or anything cozy

Great stay, spacious apartment.

Nice, spacious, comfortable and great location. We stayed four nights in the Chianti Apartment. It was a great stay. We appreciated the spaciousness of the apartment, and very comfortable sleeping. It is also conveniently located a short (very short) walk to the escalator that takes you up the hill to the center of this beautiful historic city (a plus given the heat that hit Italy while we were there). The staff was also very responsive, which we appreciated. Would recommend this for anyone staying in Siena.
