This is my second time staying at simpson bay. We were here in June had a great time! Our recent visit did not live up to the expectations. First we go to see if our room is ready and they gave us a key card, we go to the room and it was still being cleaned. Now i will say it was like 2pm so it was before checkout time but we were told and given the keys our dirty room. Shout out to the shuttle guy who work 6 to 3 antwan i think and man how bartended the B building thier customer service skills were top notch. So my friends and I were swimming at the beach and there was a swimmer in distress. We yelled for help as 5 or 6 staff members watched from a distance as myself and my friends 3 women struggled to get this man to saftey. I understand there are no lifeguards but a floatation device or buoy of some sort would have came in handy to atleast throw out to the name. We push to saftey and then my other friend gave him our float and he was able to grab a hold of it and we got to the shore at this time other make guest helped us. This whole situation was just sad a disheartening. If we wouldnt have helped, that man he would have drowned. Again i know it is some at your own risk but some type of safety device or protocol should be in place instead of staring and watching your guests do all the work. Other than the checkin and bear drowning situation the stay was ok.

The property is beautiful, service reps were great. Food on the resort was delicious, excursions provided were very nice. It was affordable, but you do get what you pay for. I chose the least expensive room, and it was very nice, but the furthest away from everything, except its own pool, so lots of walking in the heat. The toilet and sink leaked. I called twice and no one came and it was never fixed. I ended up putting towels on the floor behind the toilet and next to the sink to absorb the water. We were leaving 2 1/2 days later, so I didn’t pursue it. Hopefully it’s fixed for the next customer. If I ever go back to St Martin, I would stay again in a different section of the resort.

Great place and the price is unbearable for the amount of amenities. The parking spaces are a bit small though, even for a small economy car.

Rough check in and check out process, overall good needs more staff. Rooms were nice this is a big property so be sure which side you are booking. 10am checkout is horrible especially with a 4pm check in time

I have stayed at Simpson bay a few times. This time the room felt like a cave. Dark and lonely at the end of the building. The hotel is clean and staff very nice though. Did not have a chance to use the pool this time, but it was always crowded, which means the place is popular. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

I’m so glad I chose this resort after debating between a few others. I vacationed with my mom (76) 2 daughters (5,14) and myself (39). Everything was a 10/10. Food, hospitality, cleanliness, gorgeous property grounds, friendly staff etc. I could go on and on! I loved the suite we stayed in. It had a Queen bed, a Murphy bed a full kitchen with a stove and microwave! Awesome. They even provided dish washing liquid, paper towels, dishes , utensils and cookware. This resort is big and hilly, so I was happy to learn that they offer shuttle services to Wherever you needed to go on the property as well as outside of the property up to a certain point. Worked out perfectly as my mom can not walk far distances. She didn’t feel limited was able to enjoy the entire property. Let me also mention they come quickly! We only waited about 5 min tops each time. The pool by our suite was amazing ! Swim up bar, kids pool with waterfall, just spectacular. The views are amazingly captivating . The private beach was 10/10!! Just beautiful. We had breakfast at Juliette’s bistro every morning lol. Room service was great, too. It comes super quick. Our favorite meal we had was at the steak house Bovan. The ribeye was delicious!! I was so sad to leave. I will definitely be returning!!
