The staff at the front desk could be friendlier and more welcoming, I get the sense that they might be short-staffed?
The room was pretty clean, beds were comfortable, very quiet, nice decor, but there was a tear in my quilt and one corner of the fitted sheet didn’t tuck under completely so it was not staying under the mattress. The bath soap was cracked in pieces.
I observed dust on the floor and a piece of candy on the carpet from a prior visitor.
These are not big things independently but multiple things overlooked start to add up and leave a less than optimal impression. But maybe the cleaning staff is short on personnel as well.
They don’t make up the rooms each night which is fine for me, but we only had 2 caffeinated K-cups for our 2 nights.
Perhaps offer more k-cups at check in if the customer stays more than 1 night.
Maybe a lot of demand of a Best Western? I’m not familiar with this brand’s customer service.
I did like the Christian elements around the hotel and the nice man working on the exterior just outside the front door who warmly greeted me as I entered.
