This was a good last minute choice while staying in South Bend. Entry was welcoming, clean. Rooms were decent. Only few complaints are the bedsheets-blue comforter had stains, the baseboard of the wall was peeling, and the parking lot was a over it’s capacity due to a large, large truck with a tailgate took up five spaces. The young lady with the red hair was really really nice!

Clean & bright - GREAT value!

One of the best LaQuinta hotels I have stayed in. GREAT value for the price! Well-maintained, very clean, delicious breakfast, beautiful lobby. Fitness center was immaculate, with machines, weights and mats in pristine condition - and a water filling station! Beds were so comfortable and bathroom was large. My only "complaint" is the lack of recycling (blue) bins or any effort to recycle - especially at breakfast.

Decent Stay in South Bend

We were in across country road trip. The hotel was clean, check in was easy. Not in a very walkable area. Breakfast was pretty basic. The room was clean and it was quiet at night.

Everything was adequate.

The room was quite clean, albeit dimly lit, in the typical, inexpensive motel style. The room was off-puttingly musty-smelling when we walked in, but cranking up the a/c eventually took care of it. Towels in the bathroom were adequate. Tissues were literally tissue-thin and rough. Bathroom could have been a bit better lit and had more places to hang up wet towels. We had little interaction with the staff, but what we did have was friendly. We appreciated the free water bottles. Overall, it was perfectly fine for one night.

Comfortable and quiet. Christ the KIng Church is just up the street, making it very convenient to attend Mass on Sunday. I was born in South Bend and enjoyed exploring my birthplace without a map.
