Charming two story waterfront cottage on beautiful 30 Island Lake a private, quiet, deep and clean lake (no public access) with great swimming and fishing overlooking a large stretch of crown land.

600 Sqr ft. dock includes a sturdy ladder, stand up paddle board, and two kayaks

Inside, the Lakehouse features an open concept main floor with a gorgeous fully outfitted kitchen (two sinks!), a dinning room with an incredible view as well as a large screened in porch with outdoor dining table and comfy living room with lots of seating. Main floor also contains a powder room with a washer/dryer.

Second floor contains two master bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and king sized beds. The third bedroom has a queen and double bed, the bathroom has recently renovated. Linens provided, bring your own beach towels.

There is a short stone staircase down to 250 ft of private waterfront. Gas BBQ available along with a fire-pit.

We are available for a week at a time Saturday to Saturday. If you would like to stay for longer please let us know, thanks!

Best time!

Grown family with our 2 sons and their partners for 1 week in the middle of summer. It was hot but sunny and we stayed cool and happy swimming in the lake or paddling and hanging out on the dock. At night we all slept well on the giant comfy luxurious beds with a breeze flowing through or w/AC when we needed it. The space was meant for family to share. Some of us had work to do for part of the time and it worked out so well because the wifi is good and there are plenty of spots to find some privacy. Working on meals in the big kitchen was fun and easy. Cleanups were simple in this space. Ate every meal on the screen porch with a view of the lake. Plenty of room for 6 to be happy.

What a lovely place. 30 Island Lakehouse and its surroundings are a slice of heaven. The house was well finished, immaculately cleaned, with amenities meeting all the needs possible of our family. Kayaks, a paddleboard, and large dock made it easy for our family to enjoy 30 Island Lake. Family activities included swimming off the dock, quietly reading, kayaking, fishing on the dock or by kayak (found a couple of great "Bass holes" nearby), smores by the fire, viewing frequent hummingbird visits, and simply enjoying the ambience of the lake, including songs by the neighbourhood loons. A perfect week away, we don't know how we could possibly top it. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this paradise with us for a week. We'd love to come back!
