Comfortable and clean

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was nice and the beds were comfortable. Our toilet needed fixing and they sent someone up to fix it after the second request. The fan in the bathroom never worked. They had some issues with the elevator a couple times. Otherwise it was really nice and the staff was helpful.

My favorite place to stay in Tahoe so far. The staff is friendly, the free breakfast is great, rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. It's a quick walk to Heavenly Village. We would definitely stay here again.

The cost was doubled because of a pro golf tournament that was never mentioned at time of booking. The power went out for 1 full day they have no backup generators. Not one time did they come to clean our room in the 5 days we stayed. We were unable to shower after being at the gym getting sweaty due to no hot water during outage. Our first time in Lake Tahoe and it was hampered by this experience wasting one of our precious vacation days.

They should mention that they have totally unpractical sliding doors for the bathrooms in their rooms. No locks and the sliding door doesn’t even cover the opening. Zero privacy! If you are traveling with kids and planning on sharing the room with them then this hotel not your best option. Also, fire the genius who thought who needs privacy for bathroom visits.

The room was very spacious and clean. We had a king for 2. Dog friendly even though we left our pup at home. Saw numerous well behaved dogs. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The only drawback was one of the outlets in the room was not working. We really didn’t need it.

Large rooms and clean. Toilet seat and handle were rundown. But much newer than the other motels in the area. Power outage from 8am-4pm, no electricity or warm water. Understand it wasn’t their fault, but we received no communication about it or a response for a partial refund for not being able to use facilities, have breakfast, and use the room we paid for. Unless you cross the busy street, there are not safe sidewalks to get to the downtown area.

Everything you need

Great, safe area to stay. Be aware they do charge for parking but I think most places do in this area. Breakfast was about average of most hotels. Bonus that it did start early if you’re an early riser. Hot, free coffee all day and does have an attached Hamburger place that will deliver to the hotel. Also, laundry facilities on property.
