The property is not a good place to be called a nice hotel: it’s is duty (reception, outside, room). They do t offer room service: so t change towels or anything, do not clean the garbage cans. When I asked to have more coffee pods they asked me to go there and grab them. The management and recepcionistas were unfriendly. When I was checking out the receptionist started talking bad about Expedia.

I love my stay here for my bachelorette weekend, the food at the hotel was amazing. The only flaw to the property was the lack of parking availability. But the staff was accommodating when I called to ask where to park when the lots was full and they were able to find me a spot!

Great location, with that said , my room smelled of wet dog and the carpet was dirty. The bath towels had stains that were brown, ponder that for a second.The checkin staff were very nice and helpful and breakfast was good.

An old hotel that has been updated. Great location right across from Heavenly Village with shopping and TONS of great food options. Very awkward room layout - the king size bed basically took up the whole room. No closet, but had a small hang bar in a back corner. Our room had a light switch that was out of place and made us nervous to use and the other light in the room wasn’t working. The bathroom was very clean but had a TINY shower - my average sized husband could barely turn around it in and there is no shelf or ledge to set your own toiletries on. The water would be either burning hot or cold, it was hard to keep the temperature in between. The bathroom only had a window, which didn’t have a screen and opened to face other bathrooms that did have screens. Our room was right outside of the hotel restaurant’s huge meat smoker which was annoying. I had called down and requested more towels and none ever showed up so I went down to the office the next day and they were out down there also. One of the employees tracked some down for us. Cons: - Noisy - Uncomfortable bed - No cleaning service unless requested - Parking, there’s not enough spots for all of the guests and they charge you $10 per day Pros: - Location - Breakfast included - Can borrow bikes for free - 24/7 front desk Overall very average hotel, we were there for 3 nights. Unfortunately I don’t think the pros would put weight the cons for us to stay there again.

Comfortable stay. Room was fairly quiet, can’t control the neighbors. Location is next to street but you can’t really hear traffic. Check in was easy and staff are friendly. Free breakfast at the tavern next door, same with gym usage.. as they’re not *on* the property so you get a voucher to hold onto to use. Parking is $10 a night which is listed on Expedia just know it’s something you pay for at the hotel. It is hard to find parking if you aren’t back early enough and may have to park elsewhere. We didn’t experience that but it would be inconvenient to pay and have to park somewhere off property. Would stay again if we are back in area

Receptionist used the "F" word while checking me in. They were debating which room to give me. The room they gave me was on the 1st floor. Walked into the room, we were overwhelmed by the powerful smell of mixed mold/mildew, and room spray. We walked out and got another room, terrible smell of mildew. We left and did not stay the 2 nights we paid for. Never stay here. Dirty place.

It was a pleasant stay, location is great. However, no one cleaned our rooms (later on website, I read housekeeping is every 3 days, which I was not informed about at check in) and the trash was not taken out daily. Breakfast was ok with a waffle maker and some hot items. For 2 nights, 3 days, this was an ok accomadation.

Disappointing after a previous nice stay

Room was small , dark, and every time we walked past the dresser, the drawers opened. Had to put a chair in front of it to keep closed. Shower was really small and difficult to move in. (Normal sized person here, fyi.) Stayed at this hotel in June with my husband in a very spacious, bright room with a King bed which had obviously been remodeled. So was very disappointed this time with the room with 2 queen beds stay with my cousin. Room definitely needs remodel. Definitely wasn't worth the price paid thanks to it being a summer concert weekend.

Choose wisely

We travel to Tahoe every year. This year we chose Hotel Becket for its location and cost. We arrived around 4pm to check in for our 4 night stay and there were a couple of people already waiting. These people were existing patrons who had concerns about not having towels in their rooms after housekeeping had serviced their rooms. We made our way to our room which housekeeping was in process of cleaning. As we approached, a patron from another room asked housekeeping about towels for their room. Housekeeping finished up and I went straight to the bathroom which HAD NO TOWELS except for 2 small washcloths and a shower mat. ☹️ Upon returning from dinner and walking about around 11pm I went to the front desk to ask for 4 towels. The front desk attendant said housekeeping would bring them to my room, which they promptly did. I don’t know if it was a staffing issue or inventory issue that cause the 5 rooms to not have towels. The room itself was very dated. I would not walk on that carpet barefoot. I always travel with flip flops for this reason(they are useful for the shower as well😉) The bathroom was small and had a barn door which did not function properly. I attempted to use the restroom and the door kept sliding open. Each time we had to finesse the door to stay put. Parking is not the best either. It’s best to park early and walk everywhere. Would not recommend.
