Historic Converted Concrib Glamping Cabin in the Heart of Vermont, Perfect for a Weekend Retreat in Nature

The tiny house comes with a queen sized bed in the loft. It has a private full bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower, tiny living room, dining area and full kitchen. It can accommodate one or two people.

A newly renovated apartment in the old corncrib with a queen-sized bed and a full private bath awaits you when you drive up the road to our home in Vermont. The property has been in our family since the late 1700's. The house was built in 1840 but we suspect that the corncrib was built earlier than that.

Drive up and park facing the barn. Then knock on the door of the main house and we will show you to your space.

The Tiny House comes with a queen sized bed cotton sheets and feather pillows. The bathroom has fluffy towels, a clawfoot tub and a shower.

Walk out to the waterfall. Stroll past Standing Stone Perennial Gardens. Take a hike though the forest or jog past goat and horse farms. The White River offers fishing, swimming holes and great tubing.

We are just up the road from Vermont Law School. Within a short drive you will find Cabot Cheese Shop, the Quechee Antique Mall, the Golf Club in Woodstock, Simon Pierce Glassworks, Killington Ski Area, Montpelier (Vermont's Capital), Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Dartmouth College, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital,

NOTE: This booking is for 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed which can accommodate up to 2 people.

We have 130 acres of fields and forest to explore. There are paths including one to a beautiful waterfall.

Feeders bring birds close to the windows and porch. Other wildlife may include woodchucks, squirrels, coydogs, hawks, foxes, hummingbirds, wild turkeys or deer.

There is a collection of guides to local hiking trails that you may borrow.

I love greeting and chatting with guests. Please let me know if you would like to know about the history of the place, where to shop for antiques or where the nearest ski areas are.

If you prefer more privacy, or less contact, just let me know.

I enjoy eating with everyone seated around the farmhouse table or on the main house porch in nice weather but if you prefer we can bring your breakfast up to the cabin. There is a coffee maker with sugar and half and half in the apartment. Just let us know what time you would like breakfast.

I want your stay to be just they way you envision it. Breakfast is usually served at 8 am during the week and at 9 am on weekends but please ask if you prefer another time.

At times I may need to be away or leave early in the morning. In this case, breakfast will be self-serve but will still consist of a delicious breakfast with hot, homemade food, coffee or tea and seasonal fruits and juices.
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Royalton Memorial Library. You'll find features such as free breakfast. The cabin offers in-room jetted baths and a kitchen.
