Used to be a lot better
I have been stalling on doing this review because the staff was amazing! So I feel bad that the room/property has gone downhill. The check in staff and manager was really great! They had a lot of new staff so I understood when our room had some cleanliness issues. That wasn’t the worst part. If that had been all I wouldn’t say anything else. But the room itself needs some renovation. The ceiling in the bathroom was rusty. (The slats between the ceiling tiles) the curtain in the bedroom was torn in half. There were two mini fridges for some reason? One where it belonged and one on the floor. The beds were not at all comfortable. And honestly the worst part of all was at breakfast. They now have someone standing there telling you how much food you are allowed. What? I’ve never in any other hotel ever before and I’ve stayed there before and never had that happen before. We had a small issue with having no remote and the manager was amazing bringing us a new one and setting it all up. I told her about the messiness and she cleaned it up and took pictures and is going to train the staff better. Like I said, no complaints with the staff as they were wonderful and they can’t help the state of some things. That’s an owner thing and it needs fixed. But don’t have people hover over breakfast and tell us how much to eat. That one got me.
