I booked through Hotels.com and they did not tell me about the $100 fee when booking. The used a 3rd party to book the room and I didn't know it. They only told me about the fee after booking. The woman at Red Roof told me she would cancel the room and it would be up to the 3rd party to refund me. Now the 3rd party is saying Red Roof is not going to refund me. So someone is lying. She said Red Roof does not issue the refund the 3rd party does. And they say Red Roof issues it. You all are a bad company. People are homeless and needing food and you all want to keep money from someone so they can't eat and find another hotel to sleep. This poor customer service and also poor morals when they make several thousand dollars daily and monthly while we suffer. Shame on you for lying! Shame on you for not issuing refund! Greed will not prevail and God will handle this!

Bed was too soft, definitely worn out and sunk into the middle of the bed. Very uncomfortable and when I asked to be moved to another room with a firmer mattress I was told that all mattresses were the same. No elevator to the second floor, stairs only

We had stayed at this Red Lion several years ago, and it was fine. However, it had changed quite a bit since then. Every night there was a lot of noise in the halls and outside the building, close to the room we were in. The price has gone up significantly, like everyone else, but the clientele has gotten a lot sketchier. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful, but there is no breakfast any longer, and the coffee is just so-so. Very disappointed.

Friendly front office however my experience with other hotel guests after a long day of driving was not the best. I had a very loud neighbor who was in and out of their room all night. The doors are heavy and slam shut. The walls are like paper. I think I got woke up every 30 minutes to a door slamming. Finally fall asleep for a while just to get woke up at 3am to a tv blaring. Hallway reeked of marijuana when I departed around 5am. Cockroach in the bathroom when I finally gave up trying to sleep and started to get ready for another long day on the road.
