Anyone wanting to practise their short game is in luck with several local and links courses close by including Drumoig, St Michaels, Scotscraig, St Andrews and Carnoustie (all within 19 miles). The historic coastal town of St Andrews has excellent cafes, restaurants, shopping, and many tourist attractions. Dundee offers local attractions such as the V&A Museum and RRS Discovery. Tentsmuir Nature Reserve and Kinshaldy Beach are a 4-mile drive but it also makes for a great cycle with marked walks and cycle routes through the forest. Behind the beach and sand dunes, there are benches and BBQ stations in a field with forest openings.

Entering this beautiful luxurious renovated lodge, you arrive at a spacious cloakroom area, where you can kick off your shoes or wellies and hang up your outdoor jackets. The ground floor has five spacious super-king-size bedrooms, three with en-suites and two with adjacent shower rooms and bathrooms. There is also an additional WC on this floor. The stylish, spacious kitchen is the perfect place to prepare delicious home-cooked meals together. The kitchen leads back onto the utility room which is equipped with all the necessary conveniences. The dining area has ample seating to gather for breakfast, brunch, or dinner and looks onto the informal conservatory/games room which leads onto the garden patio. The comfortable lounge is complete with a wood burner and Smart TV, this is a relaxing social area to gather for pre-dinner aperitifs or a late evening dram. Upstairs, you will find one further en-suite super-king-size bedroom and a smaller lounge with Smart TV and patio doors leading onto a lovely, decked area on the raised level of the garden.

Venturing outside, you will find a beautiful, enclosed garden with an extensive lawn over two levels, including 1 acre of land which is safe and enclosed for the benefit of children. There’s an orchard area with astro turf and a net to practice your golf and football, a recreational area, and a patio with a hot tub. Garden furniture including a prosecco table with a fitted ice box to keep those bubbles chilled, and a BBQ, make al fresco evenings easy.
