De La Sol – Relaxed Coastal Comfort on St. George Island

Located just a short walk from the island’s peaceful, uncrowded beaches, this single-story Gulf-view home offers a private pool, spacious gathering areas, and plenty of outdoor fun. From friendly cornhole tournaments to breezy evenings on the upper deck with abundant seating, every detail is designed for comfort and connection.

THE SPACE

-Large covered deck with plentiful seating to soak in the views and enjoy the coastal breeze.
-Private pool (heating available for a fee) and poolside lounging area.

-Ping pong table located under the house for hours of entertainment.
-Your stay includes a $300 credit for beach gear rentals (delivery fees may apply).

We all really enjoyed the home! It is well taken care of and other than a minor issue with the shower drain being clogged and a light bulb out everything was good working order. The pool was awesome and it was great to have our dogs with us. Thanks for a great vacation. We LOVE SGI and will be planning a return trip for next year!

Family time on St George Island , De la Sol House

We had 5 adults, 2 kids (5 and 7 years old) and a baby in this spacious, well laid out house. Being close to the ocean (you can see it from the deck, across a not busy street, not the main island road) AND having a lovely pool was so great. We did have to pay for pool heat as the water was not comfortably warm enough for the adults. The kitchen was well appointed but could use more teaspoons of all things! Having 4 bathrooms seemed a luxury but was very nice. And we enjoyed the ping pong table, corn hole and pool/beach toys that were under the house. The large deck was a good gathering spot and useful for drying out wet gear. It was nice to have some space around the house and even nearby construction was not too bothersome. This is a house we would come to again!

Great house

The house is great! The beach is across the lot behind the house. Very short walk! We enjoyed all the things about the house! I do think that you should be able to get to check in earlier than 5 o’clock on your arrival day. I think if you’re paying for a seven day stay you should at least get seven whole days, not evening and six days.

Beautiful Home - Great Location!

Our family had a fabulous stay - The house was very clean, stocked to cook every evening, short walk to the beach, having cornhole and a private pool was a bonus to enjoy after the day at the beach! The town was very cute and had lots to offer - Sugar Kingdom, donuts, arcade, BJ’s Pizza, Blue Parrott, and touristy shops were fun to visit - especially on the one rainy day we had. The Piggly Wiggly Xpress had any last minute things we needed but I recommend doing most of your grocery shopping before getting on the main island! Beautiful beach and would definitely come back!

Perfect Vacation

The house was just what was advertised very clean and cozy. Very easy short walk to the beach. The kids loved the pool after spending the day at the beach. My family and I had a very relaxing vacation. We will definitely be doing it again.

Perfectly appointed home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was exactly as expected. In impeccable condition and perfectly appointed inside and outside for the pool and beach. Just a short little hop over to the beach. Very convenient to the town center and most importantly for us, the state park which is a must visit multiple times. The management company was fantastic--so responsive!

Beautiful island house!

Lovely home, very well equipped. Great location with very short walk to the beach & 1.5 mile walk to town. The porch was my favorite part, plus so nice to have four bathrooms! Had everything we needed, except we couldn’t get ice maker to work right & occasionally ran out of hot water when everyone showered. Overall loved it & hope to be back soon!

New to SGI

We loved the quiet atmosphere of SGI! Seeing dogs on the beach was so fun! De La Sol is a great house with MANY amenities. It was so convenient to not have to pack and bring so much with us. The house was perfect for our two families. We ate several meals at local restaurants and also cooked a few at the house. Everything we needed was available. Other than not having the direct tv working, this house was not missing a thing. Such a friendly & quiet beach!!! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Beach House!

De La Sol is a beautiful house! It had everything we needed. We're a family of five and had plenty of room. The pool was great. Loved the covered porch with comfy chairs, outdoor dining and beach view. The laundry room had a full-sized washer/dryer located inside the house. De La Sol is located in a quiet residential area with plenty of space for pets. Short walk to the beach. Chairs, a beach cart, beach towels and pool/beach toys were provided. We used the gas grill multiple times; but there's also a charcoal grill provided. There's a nice walking/biking path in front of the house. The management team was great to work with and responded quickly to questions. We've stayed on St George Island many times and this was our favorite house. We miss it already!

Beautiful Home

House was perfect for our family, everything you could possibly need provided for you. Beds and linens were very comfortable as well. Agree with previous reviewers that photos do not do it justice. My kids loved the pool and easy walking distance to the beach. My only regret was not choosing to heat the pool as we had some chilly days. Would definitely recommend this house.

AMAZING Vacation

This was our first experience in St. George Island, and we have fallen in love! We were blown away by this beautiful house. Our jaws hit the floor when we walked inside. The pictures are just a sample of this house’s beauty. Anything & everything that a family would need for vacation was provided. The owners went above & beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Out of all the homes we have rented, this home was by far the BEST!
