Most of the staff were friendly...Nibbles restaurant was the exception. The property was beautifully built into the side of a hill...so lots, and I do mean lots, of walking and steps to climb. There are also ramps and golf cart trails where you can see about having them give you a ride, but they aren't readily available. Room was nice and Lucy always kept it clean and was a delight to visit with.

The food wasn’t properly labeled as to say if it’s beef meatloaf or what it is,just saying meatloaf & with sausages too, I am allergic to pork also seafood shell food I did let the host @ the buffet know about it because she ask but when I got to the food section I saw that it wasn’t what I expected & I had to be very careful of what I was taking ..,

the staff in the buffet dining were very unprofessional/inept, they need training in efficient and professional customer care. They lack good customer care. There need to be constant managers/supervisor to ensure good customer care.

Great location - the beach and snorkeling is unbeatable. The staff was extremely slow and understaffed and the food was not even close to what I was paying for this place. Was expecting something more than just buffet junk.

Arrived at 3pm, room wasn’t ready until 5:30PM. Took several follow up with several staff to finally get access to room. Shower was broken. Activities often started later than schedule, ran out of beach towels most days. Bar had many options and food was good. Standard is well below average Royalton Experience.

Did not like the food at all..same thing every night and not good. Very little options. very friendly staff tho. The rooms were out if towels and it took forever for them to bring them up after numerous calls to house keeping me and my husband had to dry up with wash cloths after coming from a long fay at the beach you would think your room was cleaned.

A) I slipped, fell, and couldn’t walk without assistance on day 2 of my trip when entering into our room as the cleaners left the floor completely wet. I called the on-property medic team who would not rent or let me borrow crutches. B) They served pre-teens alcohol in their virgin daiquiris and thankfully the kids were smart enough to know what had happened. C) Racist, rude staff. D) Empty soda bottles, toothbrushes, used beach towels were around the bushes surrounding the buildings. I spoke with management several times and indicated that we will be taking action on several of the aforementioned concerns. Our family friends and I expect to be more than compensated by Expedia and the Royalton.

The beach was nice but staff could have made efforts to clear out debris like twigs and leaves . The steps everywhere and no elevators was a problem for the elderly and families with strollers. Water pressure issues during our stay. Not fun having shampoo in your hair and the water goes awol. But I suppose it could’ve been worse. It could’ve happened when I was giving my 4 year old a bath. The beach and comfort of hanging out in peace and quiet made the trip. Waters are crystal clear turquoise horizons.You’ll definitely see fish. Kayaking was also a highlight and how can we forget the pleasant surprise of a kids club.

Everyone who we interacted with at the property were extremely friendly, eager to help and just genuinely kind! The grounds were immaculate. The all inclusive options were ok. We felt for breakfast and lunch and poolside cocktails it was fine. But for dinner we opted to visit local establishments off premises. The hotel staff helped to secure safe transportation to all of our destinations. The beach is rocky in the water so I suggest water shoes and snorkeling gear was somewhat limited so if you have your own and space in your luggage highly recommend bringing it along! Would def stay again!

The staff were polite, friendly and always greet you with a smile. In 2025 there is no gluten free option on the menu, no cakes or gluten free bread in the entire hotel which I find unacceptale and had to eat the same meal every day. The only gluten free option for dessert was fruits or ice-cream. This is not what I expected from a 5 star hotel. I travel and stay at 5 star hotels around the world and can assure you that they provide a small section daily with bread and cakes for guests with special dietary requirements. Come on Royalton it is about time you cater for guests with special dietary requirements.
