The hotel was nice and clean. However the “pull out” sofa was big enough for only one person and the cushions laid directly on the floor, which is not what the expectation was. We had brought an air mattress with us and my adult son slept on that instead. It worked out ok, but I paid extra to have a pull out sofa and that really wasn’t what I got. The beds were good and shower was excellent. Breakfast was good and as expected however they had omelettes and egg muffins in baggies (which wasn’t super desirable) in the refrigerator area and then a sign on the microwave that said “do not heat eggs in microwave” so the expectation was to eat the omelette cold I guess? If you are going to have eggs, either have someplace that they can be heated or don’t have them at all, in my opinion. All in all, it was a good stay.

The only downfall was the continental breakfast didn't have much for options and they did not refill food items so we had some options. The waffle maker was hit or miss whether it worked or not. Otherwise, clean rooms.

I definitely try to give places the benefit of the doubt...but lately any hotel that's been teamed up with Wyndham is just not worth it. Front desk/walk in area was very disorganized, cluttered and looked a mess. Just started it off on the wrong foot. Front desk staff was great! The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the ice machine was empty come morning, water cooler was empty, coffee machines in breakfast area were empty. After taking in the hotel, we decided to eat our breakfast elsewhere. The one good thing was the view of the bridge from our room. Beautiful scenery. The room didn't have the musty smell like some older hotels, but it was just not great. The beds had indents you could clearly see. Again, just not great for the price we paid.

We had room 200. Very spacious room with outstanding view of Mackinaw Bridge. Nice balcony with chairs, table and chaise lounge. Problems with bathroom included slippery tub bottom, no handrails and towel rack unreachable from inside tub. Coffeemaker had old water in it when we came in.

HONEYMOON!!! ACCOMMODATIONS???

Toilet was temperamental, worked fine with #1, but #2 wouldn't go all the way down & leave the paper floating up to the point of almost overflowing. Thankfully it never did!!! Finally, the next morning it would complete an almost proper flush? After it again was about to overflow, it all went down. The phone didn't have a dial tone & couldn't hear when the front desk supposedly answered? We had 4-15" square pillows on the king-size bed. The in-room jacuzzi had only 4 jets.
