Pretty sure the medicine is coyote medicine to trick people out of their money by misleading about these being "cabins" and not a row of motel rooms next to a busy gas station on a busy highway. The rooms are clean, but that doesn't excuse the location or the ridiculously loud air conditioner that is malfunctioning and impossible to sleep through. Of course it's surrounded by asphalt so it's blazing hot and a/c is crucial, there is also no screen in the back window to let in fresh air. Can't believe I was absolutely robbed of $150/night for 2 nights for this place. The people who left positive reviews must not have had to suffer in room 4. The owners don't seem like honest people, and why would they care about me getting a good night's sleep, I'm just some tourist who will move on and it's not like I can get my money back from them or check out early, won't be able to get a good night's sleep until I leave!
It fit our needs for passing through on our way back home. I think we were expecting individual cabins instead of a motel type setting and not next to a gas station along the highway as single gals traveling. But I will say it was comfortable, great communication with our host and the little coffee place next to the gas station was great!
Beds are a little old but cabin was beautiful and the view is amazing. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner didnt cool the room so had to sleep with the window completely open. It was past midnight before the room cooled off enough to sleep.
The room was nice, and cleab, as was the bathroom. This is an unattended location so no comment about staff.
The only issues were that the lighting could be better, and a light added over the small kitchen alcove area, and a larger tv.
But all in all, a good value.
The cabin itself was clean, roomy, had a new bathroom and supplies. it would have been perfect except the A/C did not work well. Therefore we had to leave the window open (noisy) and the overhead fan on. Somehow the fan had a light on the wall wired into the fan so the light had to stay on all night as we needed the fan on a hot night. I would stay there again but would check to make sure the A/C is working right away.
