Chic hotel; room was clean, nice amenities. Air conditioning problematic; kept changing temperature & got sick. Food was good except Greek. Prior to arrival, I emailed hotel to confirm both pick up from & to airport. The hotel asked me to confirm my flight details which I did on the messaging app. They said it was "noted". This offered reassurance my pick-up from airport was confirmed to & fro the hotel. However to my extreme disappointment, there was no shuttle awaiting my arrival. I tried to get help from an Expedia rep a& they said I should have had confirmation from "Nexus" through the hotel. They tried to speak to other reps to no avail. It was the same story when I left the hotel. I ended up having to pay for a taxi both ways to the airport. During my stay I told the hotel agent about it as well as Nexus located next door. Nexus took my details; after 4 days of checking in with them advised me to email Nexus which I did & emailed the pymnt receipt to the hotel. I was not given a receipt for the taxi at departure. I am $200 out of pocket and to-date have not been reimbursed by either the hotel nor by Nexus. Very disappointing particularly for a hotel of this magnitude. After paying more than 7k in accommodation & airfare for the package, most of which went toward the cost of the hotel accommodation. This left me feeling undervalued as a patron of the hotel. Neither did they explain the "Diamond Club", if I were a member I suspect the issue would've been resolved.
