Pool was closed. $100 deposit which was a real hard pull on my bank account. $9 ck in late fee for what? I was there at 6pm. I want my $9 bk to my acct.

Elevator not working/ room directly next to stairs

We decided to stay a night here before hitting the road after dropping our daughter off to SIUE. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the elevator was out of order, which means we had to use the stairs every time. Not only was the elevator out of order but our room was directly next to the stairs, so all night we were disturbed by everyone who entered or exited the second floor. The door closing was not quiet so we heard everyone come and go. Due to not getting any rest we decided to check out early and head back home. Overall the hotel was very clean, my husband did enjoy the breakfast provided.

Keep the “keep out” hanger on your door

The elevator was out, but I was given an opportunity to back out of the reservation if that was a problem. My main issue with my stay is that an employee started to strip and turn over my room around 10:15 AM, before I the check out time, during a five-minute absence while I was taking the first load of luggage down to my car. I had taken the “keep out” hanger off my door, but the implications of stripping the bed on the last day are that I’m no longer welcome in the room. My belongings were still in evidence, which should have made the employee back out. I will not stay in this hotel again.

Booked late and wasn't the most accommodating there was an error with the app and they couldn't fix the problem easily. After an hour, refund, and patience we got to book the room at full price after 12AM for the toilet to not flush which seemed to be a theme as 2 other rooms had Plungers in trash bags outside their doors.
