Dante the bartender was fantastic. However our waitress was I hate to say awful. She seemed very sweet but completely overwhelmed. Maybe it was her first day. She took only 3 out of our 8 peoples orders, and then disappeared for more than 20 minutes. We finally got the rest of our order put in, but we ordered a pepperoni and honey pizza. She even asked if we wanted the honey, yet brought us the classic pizza. We were so hungry and needed to get to the game so we just ate it anyway. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable I had ever slept in! I was looking forward to my alarm not going off at 4 am! But again was disappointed by (hopefully) housekeeping trying to clean our room at 8am! Luckily we had the latch on the door. After that it was constant slamming doors we couldn’t go back to sleep. The gentleman at valet was also great, I wish I had gotten his name!

Our room rate ($324.00) was ridiculous for less than 24 hour stay. No check in till 4:00 pm. Parking is not included in your stay, an additional $40.00 The room was damp and musty. The linens were sub par for such an expensive hotel. The lobby had mud on the floors and the next morning mud still there. No floor length mirror in our king size “executive” room. Vanity mirror hanging loose. Rooms need a facelift to continue to charge those prices.

I am on a business trip in Missouri, and stayed in St. Louis for a night just for a layover basically. This hotel is conveniently located next to the sports stadium and a few restaurants, and within walkable distance to the Arch. The staff at the front desk and valet parking are all very friendly. The room there was also very spacious, and the beddings were fluffy and comfy. It was a nice stay for its price point as well.

Drugs In Safe

Things started out great. The staff was wonderful. When we got to the room, I noticed something weird in the safe. It almost looked like chewable vitamins but a google search told me that they were drugs. I let the front desk know and security went up and retrieved it.That kind of got me looking at the cleanliness of the room. I noticed drink rings on all the tables so I felt like the room was probably not cleaned thoroughly especially since no one noticed drugs in the safe. While at the front desk I requested extra pillows and a blanket. I also requested them on the app. I knew they were busy and figured they would arrive eventually. We went to our event and came back to the hotel around 11:30. Still no pillows and blanket. We asked the front desk again and they said 5 minutes. We finally received them after midnight. The front desk and security people were great but I think they were just too busy and too understaffed. I just can’t believe there were drugs in the room. What if there were children in the room that saw them first? There was just too much wrong with this stay to recommend it to others.

We love staying at the Westin whenever possible while traveling! The lobby always has that wonderful signature scent! Staff here was courteous and attentive. We checked in with our dog and 5 month old baby and they made sure checkin was smooth and swift. We booked a Non-smoking room, but when made it up to our room it wreaked of smoke. We could not stay there with our baby. So my husband went downstairs to talk to the front desk, they apologized for the mishap and promptly changed our room, which did not smell of smoke at all! All in all our stay was pleasant just as we have come to expect from The Westin Hotels.

Highly recommend

Wonderful hotel stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade and the room was simply fabulous. Everything was clean, warm, and inviting. Super easy walk from Busch stadium. Would definitely stay again.
