Not what it used to be!!

This used to be a great little place to stay for a reasonable price. Since it has changed hands, it doesn’t have the same charm that it used to. They are trying to make this historic little motel into a “resort “, which it is not. The prices are way out of line for no housekeeping services but just receiving replacement towels for what you used the day before. It’s sad because we’ve been coming here for over 10 years and will probably go elsewhere to get better value for the money.

We had an amazingly wonderful weekend!! The rooms are so beautiful and updated to have the best quality everything and very very comfortable. The staff is very friendly.. the beautiful beach is right outside your door!! My husband and I are very happy and are making this our new go to vacation home in St.Pete ❤️

I loved the fact that it was right on the beach. Bring beach chairs when you come or else you'll have to pay $40.

The website (and the hotels.com link) do not say that check in is from 4-5 only! Actually, I was told this morning that the office closes at 4:30 And they leave check-in info on the door — also new information. We had to find another place to stay!

Wonderful hotel!

I loved the hotel! It had an air bnb feel to it. A separate bedroom from the kitchen/living area. It was about the regular size of a hotel, but it was nice to have the bedroom separate from the living area. The staff were amazing! The hotel is right on the beach. You can’t beat the price.

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach Haven Resort!! Loved how small and quaint it was compared to the high rise condos. We loved the ease of walking to the beach, restaurants and beach bars. Pool was great to cool off in as well. We had the one bedroom, studio room....although small, it fit our needs perfectly; we were barely in the room. Definitely recommend this resort and would stay here again if back in St. Pete!!
