Welcome to the Oasis Cottage! This wonderful island escape is centrally located and just a short walk to the beaches and the best village area shops, restaurants and sites on St. Simons Island. Guests of the Oasis Cottage will have their own private heated pool and spa (heated upon request for $45/night) with plenty of pool side seating and lounging for use during their stay. The newly tropical landscaped pool and spa area with a 12' x 30' pool and fully fenced backyard has beautiful turf grass, perfect for families to enjoy spending time together. Enjoy cool evenings by the firepit featuring a Solo Stove technology interior. The backyard offers two covered pergola spaces with areas to enjoy grilling, relaxing, and dining.

​​​​​​​Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc. are not permitted.

Tastefully decorated with coastal decor, this home will feel like your home away from home from the moment you step inside. The open-concept floorplan offers two living spaces surrounding a large kitchen with bar seating for eight guests. The Oasis Cottage is a single-level home with all bedrooms having easy access to living spaces.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed and an en suite bathroom. The two guest bedrooms share a hall bathroom and both bedrooms have a queen bed. There is also space for two additional guests on a pullout couch in the living room for a maximum occupancy of 8.

This property is conveniently located near the beach and downtown area. The neighborhood is very quiet with the exception of the next door neighbor's dog that barks at all hours of the day. Unfortunately, our stay got off to a rocky start with the first two days of our 12 day stay dealing with maintenance issues from the front door lock not working when we tried to check-in to the washing machine requiring a maintenance repair call in addition to a water leak that had to be investigated and repaired. It felt like we lost two days of our stay while these issues were being handled. The management company was very responsive and apologetic, however, they didn’t really offer a remedy. We did ask for one which they agreed to, however, I thought they might have credited us for the two days we spent dealing with maintenance issues. The exterior space of the home is by far the nicest part of the property with a newer pool that, if you pay to heat, is very nice. The interior is showing its age. Be aware that there is very little counter space in the kitchen and it has a very odd/dated layout. The house was clean and very dog friendly which we appreciated!

Property was just as described and within walking distance of many attractions on the island. Wish we were told that dogs neededto be be crated while left on their own. We did not know that until we arrived which limited some of the things we could do. Loved the location and the amenities. Would visit again.

We had such a great experience at this property. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was exactly as described. The house was spotless, the couches and beds were super comfortable, and the amenities were truly top-notch.We stayed over Thanksgiving and really appreciated how much there was to do both inside and outside the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving meal, which was a huge bonus.One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our two larger dogs—so many places have restrictions, so we were incredibly grateful. It made the trip that much better.Highly recommend this place. We’d absolutely stay again!

Wonderful stay at Oasis Cottage! The house is better than photos, perfectly up to date and well stocked. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds and dog friendly, we so appreciate that. But the outdoor space is the best part! Nice covered areas, big screen tv, fire pit and the nicest pool/spa of any vacation home we have stayed in. The management company was very responsive to any questions and always professional. Hope to be back in the future. SSI is a special place.

The house was wonderful! We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. My only negative is I wish there was stock of trash bags, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent. We were given the starter pack, but for a 5 day stay we didn’t want to buy more. Also, I would have liked to have K-cups included too for the coffee maker.

Check in was easy. Communication was excellent. I love this property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. They said bring your own spices, but even those were there. We had a good time, cooking inside and outside. I was a little disappointed that there was no TV in the master, but not a big deal. Also, there’s no direct access to the pool. You have to come out the side door, again, no big deal. I really appreciated that the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, soap and conditioner. We rented bikes and they were there waiting for upon check-in. I highly recommend this property.

Relaxing Vacation

Overall impression of the property was a good one. The house is nice, the outside is definitely setup to enjoy. Please use caution during the summer months walking on the turf or allowing your dogs to walk on it. It gets incredibly hot. The house is close to the beach; an easy walk or bike ride can have you at the beach in 10 minutes or less. We did rent bikes and beach chairs. This was incredibly nice. The equipment was at the house by the time we arrived. We used bikes all week to get to any of the activities on the island.

Great Property/Location

This property was gorgeous, and the location was great. We aren’t strangers to St Simons, and we loved being so close to the village. The pool was a huge bonus, as this was the first property we’ve had that had a pool. We were all able to do our own thing, and still come together. One of the few things I’d recommend is just putting some sort of note or sign that the turf around the pool gets really really hot. Especially if children are outside, which we didn’t have, but could burn small feet without shoes. It was totally fine in the shade otherwise. A great location, and great for family vacations.

Wonderful stay at Oasis Cottage

My husband and I were interested in a dog friendly property and a dog friendly beach location, and we were very fortunate to have found this place! The house was beautiful, clean, and came stocked with plenty of helpful amenities including some cooking gear (like spices, oil) as well. The backyard is just as incredible as advertised. We paid extra for the heated pool and it was really warm for the winter weather! We used that and the hot tub daily. The location is nice, with a 10-20 min walk to the beach and most restaurants nearby. The grocery store and other restaurants were just a short 5 min drive. The checkin and checkout process were straight forward and we had no issues at all. The property managers were very communicative from the start and checked in during the stay. We would love to come back again, and have told family and friends about it too!

Property had an amazing back yard with pool, hot tub, fire pit... House on the inside was really well done and looked beautiful. Had a major issue with an overwhelming moldy/musty smell inside the house. Staff was contacted and attempted to treat the smell. It did not work. Had to leave doors open while in the house. No one checked to see if issue had been resolved. Too bad as this is a sweet property.

Amazing House for a family stay!

We loved staying at this property with family, as well as our pup who thoroughly enjoyed the stunning fenced in back yard! We stayed at the house more than we originally planned because the property itself made for such a great vacation. Super clean, the location is very convenient to downtown st. Simons, and , communication with the property management was very good. We all intend to come back to what may have been our favorite rental ever!
