Easy access to Stansted - staff are lovely Rooms are nice - it is a transient hotel so not expecting brilliance and would use again. Some of the bedding, although felt clean, had stains.

Clean, friendly, convenient

The room was clean and bathroom a nice treat to have Rituals toiletries. Only one side table, which as a solo guest wasnt an issue, but for two guests not good. I think as its basically a hotel used by guests who will ne using the airport, so lits of fomingand going across a 24 hr period. Signage in the corridor and lift to " Remind guests to go quietly to rooms and respect others may be sleeping , would be a good idea.

The hotel and everything about it is great, but the food was absolutely terrible. I spent about a 100 quid on food and it wasn’t well spent at all. The cake was stale and it smelled horrible. Had to throw half the food away.

A great choice

Only had a short stay but it was great. I checked in late at night after a concert in London, and was leaving early in the morning to fly home. The room lovely, spacious and clean. The member of staff who checked me in was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The shuttle service to and from the airport was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Mr Bernadetta at the reception was not friendly or helpful. Had poor communication skills and not well suited for this role. Asked us to google for parking space if we could not find a space at the hotel- this was almost at midnight when we were checking in. Could not understand that we had booked 2 rooms - was not a good experience

Shocking experience

I had no bed in my room, it was so unclean…. Messy & bad experience, next room was better, felt sorry for staff to cope with it, was such bad experience :(

This is my second stay at Novotel London Stansted, and I have to say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Reception staff were helpful and polite. Room was clean, shower hot and bed comfy. Had an evening meal in the restaurant where all staff exhibited first class customer service, being friendly, chatty and interested. Evening meal was great and the bread & butter pudding with Creme anglaise desert absolutely divine. Breakfast was just as good and plentiful. Quick and easy checkout. Highly recommended.

Okay

Stayed here before a flight and parked for 3 days which was reasonably priced. Food in restaurant is overly priced for what is microwaved food. Garden at back needs a big tidy up. Rooms are outdated and need a revamp. Shuttle bus to airport is good priced at £4 per person each way
