Snowfall levels vary from year to year.

Ski Ranch is a unique and amazing Steamboat vacation rental location. The complex, as well as the unit, offer a woodsy, cabin like feel yet you are only 100 yards from the resort. There are only 10 units in this small complex and Ski Ranch 104 is only steps from the community hot tub.

The condo itself offers an open living area with comfortable seating on a sofa (pulls out for a 2nd bed) and love seat. Sit back and relax by the wood burning stove and watch the flat screen TV. Off the living area is the kitchen, featuring brand new stainless appliances, ample storage with mountain-style wood cabinetry and 3 counter seats. It is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal. There is also a large dining table with seating for 6 off of the kitchen.

Access the private deck off the living area.

The primary bedroom features a comfy, king sized bed and also had deck access. There is also a TV in this bedroom, with Roku streaming access!

The full bathroom is in the hall between the living area and bedroom and offers a shower.

There is a coin operated laundry room in the building

During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, near the roller coaster and other activities at the base of the mtn.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Wonderful summer stay!

My husband and I stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful stay. Host was super communicative with us the entire time, the unit was just as listed and very comfortable, and the location was great. I was apprehensive of staying in a place with no AC during the summer as I need to sleep cool, but it turned out just fine and there were fans provided that kept us cool and comfy. I would definitely stay here again in the future. One thing to note is a hot tub but no pool, which was fine for our stay but might be something others would be interested in for summer time. Overall a wonderful stay and I'm glad I booked this for our time in Steamboat!

Condo is clean but old. Bed is not very comfortable. You can hear every time the people upstairs move. There were young children above us who screamed and threw things the majority of each day. Everything worked fine but furniture is old and condo needs to be updated.

This property was such a nice getaway. I had never done a short term rental before and didn't know what to expect. The property was easy to find and access. Everything was super clean, and a lot of amenities (dishes, soap etc) were provided. The hot tub was a treat. The unit was very cozy, cute decor and the fireplace really set the mood perfectly. Would absolutely rent again.

Very nice place and great location!

Overall, I was impressed! Nice hot tub and grill right outside my door. Just a few minor issues that can be easily improved. The front door corner had a lot of cobwebs that collected on my suitcase as I entered. Also, some spiderwebs in the interior and a very quick spider under my pillow, but he's gone now. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this condo!

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice location, check in was easy. nice amenities. Extra parking spot for family member was an issue, resolved by parking in a parking ramp even though only two other cars were parked in the lot. Received our parking tag that was required on our third night’s Very comfortable bed and stay. The condo had everything we needed. Beautiful town with lots to do.

The walk to the base is easy. The condo is really spacious, our family of four was very comfortable. The managers are very responsive to communications and helpful. Definitely a place we would book again.

Nice condo for our family trip

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It had all we needed for our family and it was somewhat conveniently located. The communication with the property manager was really great and they were quick to answer questions or requests. We booked this property for our family (with two young kids) so we would have easy access to the hill. I was disappointed after we arrived to learn that the property description was inaccurate and misleading. The condo is significantly farther from the hill than advertised (2.4x farther). When notified, the property manager was quick to respond and they also updated the web site with correct details. iTrip updating the description was good, but I felt cheated as we didn't get what we paid for. The well used pull-out couch was fine for young kids, but I don't think would be very comfortable for adults after long days of skiing.

Very comfortable, cozy condo

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here, we spent most mornings just chilling inside watching it snow. Then ventured out in the afternoon/evening for MusicFest. Great location too, walking distance to the base of the mountain and music venues. Another couple would be fine in this condo, very spacious. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Perfect Fall Colors Get Away!

Steamboat is a great town to visit in mid-October. The fall colors are magnificent and the weather was perfect for us to walk around with a light jacket or just a long sleeve shirt in the evenings. No crowds. It was restaurant week - so we got good deals on great food. The Condo served us perfectly. We cooked several meals and it had all the utensils/necessities for us. Very clean and comfortable. Wood fireplace is cozy. We were notified in advance the shared hot tub would not be available for us. However, it was up an running! Just a hop/skip from the front door. Don't be fearful of that. The condo is a few feet lower than that hot tub and the hot tub has a fence around it. No noise in the condo from it. We had a few questions about the condo and the management company instantly responded to us with the information we needed. All good. We walked to a few places that were open in the off season to eat. We drove to downtown Steamboat, Steamboat Lake. Strawberry Hot Springs and and took a few hikes. **TIP** for those new to Steamboat - Visit the Steamboat Visitor Center - Those folks were a wealth of information for us! The one item we missed was a guest book in the condo. We didn't find one. We like to read others adventures & recommendations and provide our own. We had a great time .
