The internet/WiFi was not working for all of our stay in our room. We complained to reception who said maintenance team would be called but never arrived. Breakfast was awful not Novotel standard it was like a budget hotel and the cutlery and dishes smelt and were not washed properly. We had to wash our own cutlery with water at breakfast in a used glass as it stank.

Rooms and public areas very tired looking and could also do with a deep clean. Shower was poor, no pressure in rainfull shower head. Room key cards kept needing resetting - 3 times i had to go to reception. No iron in room so asked for 1 to be delivered, took 2 phone calls and an hour wait....good points were the bar and breakfast staff, very nice.

It's quite a lovely place fell in love with it. Room furniture and fittings were fabulous. Bar staff were very helpful.

Upon arrival, after being in the car over 4 hours, I had to wait a long time and keep calling for staff, in the end, my assistant/care person had to go behind the counter, out the back and get them! Staff was not much considerate of me being in a wheelchair and placed forms to sign on desk higher than I could see I had to stretch up to try and sign. Upon eating our evening meal there was a constant smell of smoke at the table! Although food was tasty it’s considerably over priced, £15 for a bowl of noodles!! Very disappointing experience on the whole but to leave on a good note the bed was comfy the room had disabled access and was well kept.
