Historic House in Stockholm, Wisconsin

Your Stockholm adventure begins at Historic Plann Store Building in the center of town. There are two bedrooms and a bath on the ground floor. You'll also enjoy a large gathering space with a table that seats ten.
The upstairs guest suite has its own kitchenette and bathroom. There is a large bedroom as well as a daybed in the living room. Three additional places to sleep are available in the three-season porch.
Summer is our busy season. Unwind by the fire pit, lounge by the private pond, or walk down to Stockholm Village Park to fish the day away. Hop on one of the free bicycles and spend time exploring the eateries, art galleries, and local shops!
There is a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with a wood burning stove and plenty of places to read, watch a movie or play games with family and friends.
We are close to the railroad line as well as a state highway. Stockholm is a quiet zone, so you will not hear the train whistle, but some are bothered by rail and truck noise. The stairway to the second floor is steep, but it is up to code. There's a handrail on each side.
During your stay at this cottage, you're just a quick walk from Lake Pepin. Features include laundry facilities. The cottage includes amenities such as a kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms.

Couples Weekend

This was a perfect spot for the six of us with plenty of room. We loved reading about the history of this house. The outside sitting areas was a plus with it being a warm fall weekend. Everything in Stolkholm was within walking distance, basically within a block. We even walked through the nearby campground which is on the Mississippi.
