Loved the architecture, and the fact that it was built in the first few years of 1900. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast was included and it was excellent. The hotel has a very relaxed and homely feeling to it with wonderful staff. The bed was comfortable and good showering facilities. Coffee and tea available all day in the downstairs lounge. Breakfast very good with homemade bread. Situated opposite some of the boat trip berths and in easy walking distance of most of Stockholm's tourist attractions.

We loved staying at the Esplanade. The charm and character of the entire building was incredible. From the delicious breakfast spread each day to the relaxing sitting room upstairs to the outdoor balconies - we couldn’t get enough. We had split our trip between two different hotels and in the end were wishing we had stayed with the Esplanade for the entire time! Staff were all helpful and friendly. Will absolutely be back!
