Beautiful hotel in general, and the rooms felt very luxurious and had a lot of character. Lots of counter space in the bathroom with large well-lit mirrors, very comfortable bedding with down duvets/ pillows, and a lot of natural light (plus a great view). Staff was incredibly nice, and the breakfast was divine - from the presentation of the food to the quality of the food. Certainly the best croissants I have tasted. Location is prime, and a very busy but picturesque part of town.

The staff at The Sparrow were extremely pleasant and helpful. They were able to provide us excellent dining options and helped us with local directions. They room was a big surprise. It was much larger than we expected. The beds were comfy and we slept amazing. Check-in and departure were quick and easy. They made a beautiful hotel even better.

Our second eight-night stay at The Sparrow, the first time in 2023, and once again we have nothing but praise for every aspect of this superb hotel! Charming design overall, with French accents; well-appointed rooms that are meticulously cleaned and resupplied each day; a complimentary breakfast offering a wide variety of items, all of high-quality and preparation and several appealing areas to eat in; all staff congenial, helpful and well-informed. Another outstanding feature is its location: adjacent to a lovely public park and within easy walking distance of many of Stockholm's landmarks, fine restaurants and both high-end and affordable shopping. Also, while The Sparrow is located on a major Stockholm street, one is not disturbed by traffic or pedestrian noise during the day or night. Room rates are reasonable, though by no means inexpensive, given the hotel's excellent services and features. The Sparrow will be our first choice for accommodations whenever we have the good fortune to be in Stockholm.

Sparrow Hotel is a beautiful facility, with lovely rooms, incredible breakfast options and an excellent location. However it does have its drawbacks. Good: The decor is truly lovely, from the old-fashioned lifts with closing doors to the rooms themselves, it's a lovely place to be. The breakfast is one of the best around with many interesting options to try. Beds are comfy, rooms are nicely equipped. Not so good The aircon barely functions. Which would be fine for opening a window if it wasn't in the very middle of one of the busiest night areas of Stockholm. You can't fault them for being where they are, and with windows closed it's quiet. But the rooms get very warm in summer.
