In short, the hotel served its purpose as a place to stay when I needed it, but the overall service and attention to guest experience could use improvement. Additionally, the property itself is showing signs of wear and could definitely benefit from some renovations to bring it up to a more modern and comfortable standard.
My stay at this hotel met a basic need in the moment, but overall the experience was lacking. The check-in clerk was courteous and handled the process professionally, which I appreciated. However, when I asked if both of my reserved rooms could be placed on the same floor, I was asked to wait 30 minutes while they "checked" only to be told afterward that it wasn’t possible. It felt like the time spent waiting could have been avoided with a clearer response immediately at checkin
he breakfast experience was also disappointing. Although breakfast runs until 10:00 AM, the waffle mix was already out by 9:45, and when I asked the staff member said they weren’t making any more, despite there still being 15 minutes left in service. That lack of follow-through didn’t leave a great impression.
