We stayed here for my daughter’s soccer tournament, and overall, it was an okay experience but with some issues that made it just average.
When we arrived about an hour early, we politely asked if early check-in was possible. The front desk staff member was very rude and dismissive — she pointed at a sign and told us to “just read it.” When we clarified that we simply wanted to know if checking in early was an option, she curtly replied that check-in was at 3 p.m. We completely understand policies, but the tone and attitude were unnecessary. We’ve stayed at many hotels where staff have been much more courteous and accommodating in similar situations.
Once we checked in, we noticed a very strong smell of marijuana in the hallway, which wasn’t ideal since we were traveling with our family. Inside our room, there was a strong chlorine smell — it did seem freshly cleaned, but the odor was overwhelming. We also had trouble getting the A/C to work at first, though thankfully, someone was able to come up and fix it.
All in all, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but between the rude front desk interaction, the smells, and the maintenance issue, it definitely fell short of expectations.
