The Space:

The Rocky at Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away is located just 35 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours away from Brisbane city, near the town of Stoneleigh. Surrounded by a rich farming community, our holiday homes provide a unique countryside farm stay experience.



Conveniently close to the Gore Highway, guests also have easy access to attractions like Cecil Plains, Queens Park Toowoomba, Laurel Bank Park, Darling Downs Zoo, Toowoomba Carnival Of Flowers, and the Bunya Mountains.



This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home features fresh, drinkable water sourced from an artisan underground bore. It includes a queen-sized bed, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: We are a working farm with animals, so there may be some noise. For a more restful stay, we recommend bringing earplugs if you are sensitive to sound. Parking is available at the shed, and from there, it’s a short 50–100m walk to the cabin

- Breakfast Baskets $20 per person with local produce; self-cook in your tiny cabin.



You are welcome to explore the surrounding areas, and interact with the animals as you like.The farm is managed with rotational grazing and farming to support the land’s health.



If you prefer, there are restaurants, takeaways, and grocery stores in Pittsworth’s main street nearby.



For special occasions, we can provide Bespoke Picnics, Charcuterie Boards, Wine, Beer, Champagne, Fruit, and Local Produce tailored to your dietary needs. Just arrange this with the host 24 hrs in advance.



The Neighborhood:

The Rocky at Stones Throw Away by Tiny Away is 35 minutes from Toowoomba and a 2 hour drive from Brisbane, near Stoneleigh. Toowoomba is known as the Garden City for its beautiful gardens and local food, blending history with modern art.



Explore nearby Cecil Plains Conservation Park, offering walking trails through woodlands and wetlands. Visit Queens Park in Toowoomba, Laurel Bank Park, and the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, known for their beautiful floral and botanical gardens. Discover global wildlife at Darling Downs Zoo, and don’t miss the Bunya Mountains, home to the world’s largest stand of bunya pines.



Getting Around:

By car:



- Travelling by flight from Melbourne/ Sydney or further afield will require you to fly into Wellcamp Airport in Toowoomba.

- From the airport, it will be a 20-minute drive west on the Gore Highway to the farm.

- The property is a lovely scenic drive of 2 hours from Brisbane, 2.5hours from the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast.

- 30 minutes West of Toowoomba on the Gore Highway.



By public transport:



- There is public transport via a bus from Toowoomba to Pittsworth. Please see Translink for times.

- Depending on drivers and availability, Uber and taxis can be arranged for commuters.



Other Things to Note:

- Parking is available at the shed, with a 50–100m walk to the cabin

- Wifi is available near the main property, not in the Tiny house

- BBQ is available for use

- Smoking is not allowed in the tiny house

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus, Vodafone

- Please note we have livestock on the property, and they can be noisy at times.

- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur additional charges.



Important note:



- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- Outdoor fire pits are not allowed during a total fire ban. Please do not start fires anywhere else on the property.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
