Ehh?

We checked in late night, so I understand a tired employee. But the employee was rude at check in. Also the bathroom door didn’t close which was alarming. Lastly, the elevators weren’t working which wasn’t ideal.

Fantastic! And kudos as a severe snow storm struck the area the property was kind enough to open their restaurant on a day they would normally be closed as local options would be limited. Awesome property and incredibly thoughtful! Truly appreciated!

Everyone was so kind and helpful. There were 10 of us and we had 3 rooms. The only problem we had was we were on the 4th floor and the elevator broke the last night we were there, so it made loading the van with luggage for 10 people a bit difficult. Not sure that was anyone’s fault though.

Elevator continues to be a problem

Due to reports about the elevator, I called the hotel directly before booking to confirm it was working again. While driving there, the hotel called around check in time to inform me that the elevator would not be working for the weekend. They did not offer a way out of the reservation and I had no way to make alternate plans. It would have been appropriate for the hotel to offer something like free parking (you have to pay to be in the lot) or a breakfast for the inconvenience, but they didn't. This is the primary reason for my rating. Otherwise, it was clean and the downtown was within an easy walk. We ate at the hotel's restaurant for breakfast - the service and food was meh. For the price, I would look elsewhere next time.
