We were in the New England area for a week. This was one of our stops, and it was the most expensive one-day hotel room I've ever paid for. The pictures on your booking site did not match the sad room we got. Small, basic at best, lamps with no lampshades, a TV so small that you couldn't see it from the bed. We were shocked and extremely disappointed.

Hotel is very clean but for the money, it better be. Room was on the 3rd for which is not where I wanted to be...Maybe they stuff the Hotel.com customers there. Could not get them to put us in a lower room. I'm 73yo and carting bags up stairs to a room is not what I was looking to do.

Staff was great. But our room was small and awkward. No counter space in the bathroom at all, no closet. Just made our room feel messy and difficult to relax. Also, when we arrived, our room, while clean, smelled so strongly of a cleaning or air freshening fragrance that we literally had to keep our door open for a few hours. Never had that happen at a hotel before. Beautiful area, but will probably choose somewhere else to stay next time.

This property is so beautiful and the facility is so pretty. They serve hot coffee and tea whenever and had a wet bar that was wonderful to order snacks and drinks at. The staff was very sweet. The reason why I rated this so low is because of our room. Upon arrival when we went to our room the lock was holding our door open??? Weird?? Why wasn’t our door locked!?? We went inside and it looked fine. After taking a shower when I got out I noticed someone’s wet used towel was still hanging behind the door! That night we were trying to sleep my husband had dropped his phone and when he reached down he grabbed someone’s packaged cond**!!! Then our A/C unit would barely work! The bed was hard as a rock. I could’ve slept on the floor and gotten better sleep. The next morning we notified the staff and the cleaner came straight to our room and apologized, she said she had been off for two days… like what!?? So basically no one cleaned for two days?? I really do not like leaving bad reviews and try to give everyone grace. But this was just all too much. Hopefully this was a one time experience. But they sure didn’t try to make anything better or deduct anything to make it right either. It was nasty. If it wasn’t peak of the season and everything else was booked we would’ve left. It was disappointing.

⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ Beautiful setting, but disappointing room quality The property has a lot of potential — the views are gorgeous, there’s plenty of natural light, and the private deck area is a great spot to relax or enjoy the outdoors. There are also nice options for outdoor activities, which made the location very appealing. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. There was mold in the fridge, the ice bucket was full of water, and the mattresses were severely worn and uncomfortable. The shades provided almost no privacy, so anyone standing on the deck could easily see inside. Once the sun went down, the room was very dim with minimal lighting, and the small TV didn’t help make it feel any cozier. With some attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort, this could be a fantastic stay — but as it stands, the room fell far short of expectations for the cost given the otherwise lovely setting.

The rooms were small, but fine. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub and heated pool was wonderful. The fire pit was fun. I found that the coffee in the lobby was cool and there was no cream. Disappointed!
