Distance between carpark and the rooms is a little far carrying heavy things from car up a ramp but nothing can be done about this as the property is part of the old centre of town, maybe a luggage trolley might help ? STRAHAN beautiful place and the cruise something to remember!

This was a really nice room. And the view of the harbor was great. The buffet prices at the restaurant were pretty expensive but The Kitchen restaurant was reasonable and their food was really good. The location right near the Gordon River Cruise was really convenient.

Aging property

Room was well worn and mostly clean. Bugs came out of jacuzzi nozzle when I used it, probably hadn't been used in a while. No one ever answered reception number. No electric plugs near bed for CPAP machine,, needed to go to reception for extension cords that ran across the room. Bit of a tripping hazard. Well located!

Beautiful view of the harbour from our balcony. Clean and comfortable accommodation though dated, the more modern accommodation is up the hill. Beautiful buildings and houses in the village, restaurant was amazing for a seafood buffet dinner. Gordon river cruise across the road. Lovely pub nearby and other food options. Staff helpful with advise and directions. Very enjoyable 3 night stay.

Multiple properties spread out over a wide area, there didn’t seem to be any place where people might gather and socialise. However it makes sense to run it as a cooperative. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. The buffet dinner was a bit over-priced but was on site, great not having to drive out at night. Our room was rather bland, but since this was presumably former timber industry accommodation, it was ok. Taking the cruise to the Gordon River was a highlight. Of our time in Strahan.

We sated in the executive suites having been upgraded and just simply amazing views and the rooms are amazing with all you need. I might mention the king bed. Whatever mattress they use is simply superb. Better than what we have at home or anywhere else for that matter. Well done!
