Incredibly disappointed in our stay. We couldn't get into our room without assistance. The door access was broken, a known issue prior to our arrival. We couldn't access our room - as far as could be from the lobby #342 - without finding a staff member to assist. At 9pm, we were advised by security that this was a known issue. After having keys remade 3 times, we were given a master key that could open all the rooms. Such a crazy idea that they would give this to a guest! The pool was disgusting to the point we couldn't use it.

We were disturbed at night with kids running up and down hallways till after 10pm. Yelling. Then these kids smashed their fists on doors in the early morning around 8am. They would smash their fists on the door then run. Parents didn’t have these kids under control. Staff didn’t ensure there was peace and quiet and my stay was awful and unrested. I left contact information and have not heard from the manager as of yet. I will be requesting a refund. The parents of the known kids should pay for my room it was that awful. That’s how you teach parents to keep control of their kids instead of letting them run free and disturbing the whole floor.

Fair enough for a night off the road

Clean over all, but our bathroom washcloth was “pre-streaked” with a brown substance, according to my husband so I skipped the shower. The mattress had a bit of a channel along my side of it and I woke up with a stiff back. Breakfast was humble and lacked both orange juice and maple syrup. I’ve stayed in worse places for sure, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a long stay, however, the staff were friendly and optimistic and clearly aimed to please. They just have a long road ahead.

For an older property this one is in good shape. However, our room had a strong smell of pot. I know this is hard to get rid of, just wish people wouldn’t smoke in the rooms. Very clean, comfortable beds. Located in downtown in an area full of street people with no secure parking.
