Although the structure of the building is starting to show it’s age, the facilities within are new enough. A classic ryokan experience on a large scale with friendly staff.

Food and service disappointing

Food was mediocre at beat given the hefty price tag of 300usd for one night. Fish scales were stuck onto the sashimi, the taste bland, and waiter impossible to catch. Check in was similar, with inattentive staff and total lack of security when they offered to take my bag to the counter, they just left it sitting in the middle of the lobby and didn't even bother communicating that to the bell boy.

海月館さんには大変お世話になりました。 スタッフの方の対応はとても親切丁寧で、お部屋食も大変美味しくいただきました。 部屋は、落ち着いた感じの和部屋でした。 海水浴へ行き部屋へ帰りお風呂へ向かうとバスタオルが無く、部屋へ取りに行きました。 出来れば、忘れた人用のバスタオルも完備した方が良いと思いました。 お風呂の脱衣所のウォーターサーバーはたすかりました。 ドライヤーが全然風圧が無く隣でいつまでも乾かしている方がいました。 ホテル内でのドリンクやアイスは子供達が喜んでいました。 部屋からの景色が抜群でした。 濡れた水着を乾かす所がない為、スタッフの方に聞いて近くのコインランドリーで洗いましたが、少し面倒でした。 写真など撮りやすいように小物を用意してきださってたり、細やかな優しさを感じました。 また、朝のバイキングはとても楽しく美味しくいただきました。 また、来たいね！って家族で話してます！ ありがとうございました(^^)

晩御飯のお刺身が残念でした。 他の方も書いてましたが、量はしっかりありますが、鮮度が悪く美味しくはなかった。 施設に関しては古いですが特に問題は無く、レトロな和室を楽しむ事ができました。目の前が海なので、海水浴ができる季節に泊まるのがベストかと思います。
