And 5 miles in the opposite direction, you can spend a day discovering the beautiful National Trust beaches at Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve with its rugged cliff tops and panoramic views.


Reached by a single-track tarmacked lane followed by a steep slope to the former stable, you will take two steps up to access this lodge through its French doors to find a double-aspect, open-plan living space. Comprising the kitchen, lounge and dining area, the space is all on one level and features a vaulted ceiling. Sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa as you take in the unspoiled views through the patio doors and fire up the electric flame-effect log burner if you’re feeling the chill. A Smart TV provides evening entertainment. The bright and airy kitchen offers everything you’ll need to cook up delicious meals before sampling your efforts in the dining area, complete with blissful views through the floor-to-ceiling patio doors. On further exploration, you will find the tastefully furnished bedroom with en-suite and 5 ft double bed, complete with seaside theme and the view to match.


The exterior is equally as impressive, with raised terrace areas complete with seating and a BBQ alongside a pretty lawn. A small barn near to the property houses a washing machine and freezer. Footpaths radiate out across the owner’s land bordering Durlston Country Park and the picturesque South West Coast Path. Whether you wish to throw down a blanket and appreciate the peace and quiet or set out to discover your surroundings, you are spoilt for choice in this prime location. Furthermore, you can get to know the owner’s donkeys and livestock as you explore the area. There is parking for one car adjacent to the cottage with additional parking above.
