Welcome to Tall Pines, a spacious and charming 5-bedroom, 3-bath vacation home nestled among the trees—perfect for family getaways or a relaxing mountain escape. With a warm, rustic feel and all the modern comforts you need, Tall Pines is your home base for adventure and relaxation in the heart of Deep Creek Lake. Inside, the home features two bedrooms on the main level, one in the cozy loft (complete with a desk for remote work or quiet reading), and two more on the lower level—offering plenty of space for everyone. The main living area boasts a wood-burning fireplace (bring your own firewood) and a smart TV with streaming available for laid-back movie nights. Enjoy the convenience of air conditioning, a washer/dryer on the main floor, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for home-cooked meals.

Step outside to the upper deck where you'll find rocking chairs, a firepit, an outdoor dining table, and a grill for cookouts under the stars. The covered lower deck features a private hot tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Tall Pines is just a short walk or drive to the community lake access area, where you can enjoy a shared pavilion, open firepit, and multiple swim platforms. You'll also have access to the community's aquatics and recreation complex, and you're less than two miles from Deep Creek Lake State Park and about 8 miles from Wisp Resort for year-round outdoor fun. Whether you're hiking, swimming, skiing, or just soaking in the quiet beauty of the pines, Tall Pines is the perfect place to make memories.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*This home's kitchen is equipped with a standard and k-cup style coffee pot.
*Max parking spaces for this home is 5; garage access is not available
*This home does not have cable tv (streaming is available using your own account)
*Driveway is steep
*This is a non-smoking/vaping property
*Check-in is between 4 pm- 9 pm; Check-out is by 10 am.
*Minimum age to rent is 25.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please plan to bring your own supplies. One bath towel and one washcloth per person will be provided. Homes are equipped with cookware, dishes, drinkware, utensils, and bed linens for the max occupancy of the home. Propane will be provided for all propane grills; any refill requests can be made during normal business hours. Some items NOT provided include: paper products, food/spices, coffee filters, trash bags, detergents, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, firewood and makeup remover wipes (recommended to avoid fees for towel damage).

PETS:
This home is not pet-friendly. Undisclosed pets will be charged a fee equal to 3x the standard pet fee, per pet.

WINTER RESERVATIONS:
A 4WD vehicle is required to access rentals between November through April. Private driveways will not be snow-plowed unless and until there is 5 inches of snow.

RESERVATION PROCESS:
WITHIN 24 HRS OF BOOKING, sign the Rental Agreement to begin receiving your pre-arrival information. (Door Codes will NOT be released without an e-signed agreement.) Once completed, your check-in instructions and door code will be automatically sent ONE DAY PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If you do not receive this info, please check your spam folder first. If it is still missing, contact us before 4 pm to ensure a smooth check-in. *A non-refundable processing fee applies to all reservations.*

Beautiful house, clean, warm. Steep driveway is indeed tough to navigate in snow, and there are no steps up the 20-vertical-ft hill from the street to the house. House has many great amenities, e.g. waffle iron and Keurig, not mentioned in listing.

Perfect wooded, cozy vibe

Very nice house

We have a wonderful time during our stay at Tall Pines. The kitchen was fantastically well stocked and there were plenty of games available that the whole family enjoyed. Despite being in the middle of a neighborhood, it felt like you were in the middle of the woods and was close to the lake as well as some great hiking trails.

The Perfect Getaway

This house is perfect for anyone wishing for a private, quiet, and very comfortable place to stay. The house is beautiful, well cared for, and offers great amenities for all - adults and children. This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake, and after staying here, we all agreed we'd like to make it an annual event. I highly recommend Tall Pines!!

A Great Home for Gathering

This home has everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. It's very well equipped for just about any activity. The pool table and hot tub were great! The only drawback is that it's on a steep hill, so if anyone has mobility issues you'll want to take that into consideration.

Three Generations

Great location for our family mini-vacation. Chose this location as it included a dock slip. We enjoyed the three level home due to one of our party working remotely and there also being an infant. Would recommend.

Relax in the woods

The House fit our family well. Everyone felt comfortable there and could relax and enjoy nature and each other. We had a bear get into the trash overnight, and the team was very responsive in fixing the bear container for the trash.

Everything you can ask for

Great house in a great location! Basically every amenity you could ask for and well stocked and prepared (it's the little things - all the light switches were labeled!). Very clear instructions for arrival and checkout. And even though we weren't specifically looking for it for this stay, the convenience of the lake access definitely didn't go unnoticed. Would absolutely stay here again over other options if given the opportunity.

Amazing!

Clean, spacious house with everything anyone could possibly need. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, all light switches were labeled, the kitchen had tons of supplies and dishes… I was constantly blown away by how convenient everything was! The location is amazing too: more privacy than some of the other nearby houses and still a short walk to the lake. I am 100% planning on staying here again.

Absolutely Stunning

This private secluded beautiful home was perfect for us! Very welcoming, clean, & the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The jacuzzi was loved & used daily. The private dock/community area is surrounded by the lake & was absolutely perfect for our family picnic. We had a wonderful time, highly recommend. Please be advised...the entrance is on the second floor and the steps may be difficult for the elderly or handicapped.

A lovely quiet place not far from Deep Creek State Park

Our visit involved 3 generations in our family, from a 2 year old to 74 year olds. The place was wonderfully spacious and had useful, sturdy furniture throughout the home. The kitchen was easy to use with just about everything one could need. The whirlpool was enjoyed by the 30 -year olds; the deck was enjoyed by everyone. It was very clean, with nice beds, nice sheets, nice towels and plenty of them. We were happy with the short drive to the sandy beach at the State Park, and we all hope we can visit this property at another time.

Tall pines

House was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Sheets and blankets were spotless and towels were plentiful. Location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. Good fishing off of the private dock. Short drive to all activities on the lake including boat rental and Wisp ski resort. The hot tub was so relaxing after a busy day! I only have one negative thing to report. The outdoor fireplace was not in working order. Full tank of propane, but wouldn't light. Maybe just a bad regulator? I would DEFINITELY stay at this home again.

Great size house but some upgrades needed

The house was very clean when we arrived. Plenty of room for all of us. Lake within walking distance of the house. We loved the decks and how peaceful and quiet it was in the surrounding woods. We didn’t have a boat, but appreciated have our own dock if we wanted to rent one. One of the big problems we had was the air conditioning unit stopped working properly, which made for some very hot nights of sleeping. We worked with property manager to try to solve the issue, but it wasn’t a quick fix and the problem couldn’t be resolved while we were there. We also noticed the refrigerator didn’t quite keep things cold. With a few fixes, we would probably stay there again.

Great family getaway!

We were so lucky to find this listings relatively last-minute for a 5 day trip out to Deep Creek. Everything was exactly as pictured and then some! It was great to have multiple rolls of toilet paper, a new paper towel roll, complimentary dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent, and hand soap for use! These seem simple but I've been in enough rentals where I have needed to bring literally everything possible. Only minor nuisance was having to communicate through a whole separate system via Vacasa vs just staying through VRBO due to the rental agency. I was initially only given the access code via text message and then somehow lost it, so I needed.to call and have it re-sent. Other than that, all information we would possibly need was provided. We made use of the available dock slip during the week which was a driving factor for choosing this rental. The grill and hot tub were also both in working order!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first family weekend getaway (blended family) and it was perfect. The house was clean and cozy. The location is PERFECT. Close to just about anything you need and want. Great amenities. Games for the children (that we didn’t realize til the night before we were to check out, but that’s our fault because we didn’t look in the closet. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware. The fire pit is a definite plus! We brought our grilling kit to grill but unfortunately we’re unable to because it looked as if the grill hadn’t t been cleaned in a LONG WHILE. So, we just threw the hot dogs in the oven for the kids. No biggie for US, but maybe for another family. I do wish we could have turned the ac down a bit more because we were a bit hot as it was a scorcher of a weekend. But all-in-all, we loved the house and would definitely return. Vacasa’s staff is also very responsive. Will definitely rent from them again. Perhaps they’ll be our choice when we do our annual Disney trips if they have homes in the Orlando area.
