It's a lovely hotel in a great area. However, I got virtually no sleep due to loud music playing on a loop from Eric's Bar all night!! The hotel staff apologised and told me that Eric's Bar staff should have turned it off after 12:00 am. I'd suggest Eric's Bar staff need to be strongly reminded of this as they are negatively impacting the hotel's business.

Great location in middle of the Rocks

Wonderful hotel in centre of historic The Rocks in central Sydney, plenty of places to eat and drink just around corner. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating, kindly lent me a power board to operate cpap machine. Location and room was quiet, fell asleep almost immediately. Recommended.

Fantastic ambience, excellet customer service, comfortable beds. Wouldn't really recommend the breakfast, given so many options around the rocks for similar prices. Would definitely stay at the hotel again!

The service was fantastic. The location is incredible. The room was spacious and had a great view. The desk in the room was perfect for getting some work done. The bathroom was a little old and small and needed some updating. Overall I would recommend this hotel for its service and location and overall value.

The hotel itself was historic and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. In terms of location in the rocks it was excellent. However our room had a very musty smell that got worse when we put the a/c on. Also the bathroom was very dated and not very functional and smelly. Obviously being a historic property I imagine all the pipework is old and unfortunately not pleasant when we walked into our bathroom.

Would Definitely Stay Again

The staff at this hotel were all very kind and helpful. The location is perfect as it is only a few minutes from the metro, the opera house, Sydney harbour bridge, and a lot of dining/nightlife options in the rocks.

Position, position, position

Great hotel in the rocks precinct, central position close to everything. Circular Quay is not even a 5 minute walk. Older renovated warehouse, beautiful stone walls throughout. Our room, 313 had a view of the Opera House... amazing for the price. Breakfast was plentiful and really good with lots of options and staff were really engaging. Rooms could definitely with an overhaul but they're still pretty good, just a little dated. Coffee machine in rooms, great coffee with breakfast... Spotlessly clean. I'll defer nately be staying here every time is in Sydney!
