Room was looking a bit dated. Was booked in for a King room, then booked another 2 nights in a King Deluxe. When I arrived, I questioned at reception, about leaving my bags in the morning, as I had made another booking for the Deluxe room, I was told that I had already been upgraded. Very poor upgrade to a Deluxe room, and they needed to redo my room key, for the extra nights. Didn’t want to argue with them.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The bed and bathroom were clean. The walls were banged up and there was months of dirt on the baseboards and where the carpet met the walls. The hotel is not as secure as it should be, as the elevator is on the ground floor and anyone can go to any floor and bypass the lobby.

I always stay at this hotel whenever I'm in town. In fact, I stayed there over 100 times. The quality service starts with their friendly Reception. Their system registers visitors in detail, and rewards any returning visitors. Not only is chech-in super quick, but free upgrade is also offered from time to time. When there's a change to their house rules, e.g. an update to Wi-Fi password, they would inform me proactively as well. I need to express my great appreciation of the excellent service provided by Reception. Thank you Megaboom for hiring such wonderful staff at Reception. It really makes my stay memorable and unforgettable.
