Love staying here for convenience. Basic, clean, safe, quiet and close to Town Hall. Super small rooms- esp good for solo traveler. Can hear some tram or train noises.

We had a good stay. There is a bit of rumbeling due to subways. But stops late. The location is great. But no breakfast included, and room could use a little help. But bed comfy, sheets great. Shower nice. Remodel was slipshod but for the price. Good

Very close to QVB and Pitt St Mall, public transport all in walking distance. York st was noisy but did not hear any outside noise from the room. Easy checkin and nightly room rate was very affordable. Nothing to dislike.

Jackhammers vibrating through the hotel room 204

Noisy room with jackhammers next to my room.Also train noise under my room for the second time in three weeks.Dont stay on the ground next to the office or the second floor of the Megaboom.I was treated with unsatisfying response from the Assistance Manager with my concerns for not being able to sleep.I have stayed at this hotel for over five years weekly and always recieved a quiet room.Do not stay in room 204.I have taken my businesses to another Hotel.Megaboon please return this money to my bank account that was taken out fraudulently when you sold me a room that was totally unsatisfactory when the noise levels where not explained on checking in,eg jackhammers working on the building site at 7.00 am in the morning.

I arrived 30 minutes before check-in and not only was I allowed to do so; I was also upgraded a larger room without any additional cost! Although the room itself was a little dated, it was very clean and comfortable. The mini fridge was unfortunately not working; but either way, with the amount of food options and easy access to groceries in the vicinity, it wasn't an issue. Overall, it's a good place to stay if travelling to Sydney CBD for business.
