This A-framed cedar timber home, spread over two levels, provides spacious accommodation for up to 12 adults. Enjoy panoramic views of the Megalong Valley, an outdoor jacuzzi, a rumpus room with a ping pong table, and an array of modern amenities.
Entering the house from a private drive, you’re greeted by an open-plan lounge and kitchen that directly overlooks the extensive Megalong Valley. Large sliding glass doors lead to a deck that invites you to relax and soak in the breathtaking bush views. The separate dining room, featuring a raw timber table for 12, also offers stunning views. The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and all necessary utensils.
The lodge comfortably sleeps 12 across its five bedrooms, each with built-in wardrobes. The master bedroom includes a corner spa bath ensuite, while the other bedrooms have their own well-appointed bathrooms. During winter, the house is warmed by a slow combustion fireplace and reverse cycle air-conditioning, which also cools the house in summer.
The main living area offers incredible views of the majestic Megalong Valley, where you can relax by the wood-burning fireplace as you watch the mist roll up the valley. Alternatively, enjoy a summer BBQ with cocktails on the large deck. For those eager to explore, Katoomba Scenic World is just a 6-minute drive away, where you can ride the famous Skyway or Scenic Railway. The world-renowned Three Sisters and extensive bushwalks along the Cliff Drive scenic route are also nearby.

LAYOUT
• GROUND FLOOR (Upstairs): Features the front porch, lounge with TV and fireplace, dining area, kitchen, Bedrooms 1, 2 & 3, two full bathrooms, laundry, back deck, and BBQ. The main entrance is accessed via a garden path and a flight of stairs leading down from the road to the front porch.
• LOWER GROUND FLOOR (Downstairs): Includes Bedrooms 4 & 5, one full bathroom, a second TV, games room, and access to the outdoor jacuzzi. This level is also accessible internally via a staircase from the ground floor.
ACCESSIBILITY
• Ground Floor (Upstairs): Guests with mobility concerns can access this level externally via the driveway and side ramp, entering through the master bedroom’s sliding doors.
• Lower Ground Floor (Downstairs): This level can be accessed externally via the driveway through the garage or via the sliding door beside the outdoor jacuzzi.
FEES
• The base tariff includes 6 people, with an extra fee charged per additional guest, per night.
• Electric car charging is $20 per use, payable separately after booking.
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING FEE
• Please advise if you intend to use the house electricity to charge your electric car.
• There is a fee of $20 per charge, which is charged separately.
• Kindly inform us of the number of times you plan to charge your car during your stay.
• There is no dedicated EV port at the property.
• Guests will need to bring their own extension lead and EV-compatible charging cable to connect to the property’s electricity supply.
CLEANING FEE
• The cleaning fee reflects the actual cost of professional cleaning and linen hire for each booking.
FIREWOOD SEASON
• 1st April - 31st October
• During firewood season, a starter pack of firewood, kindling, firelighters, and matches are provided for your first night.
• More firewood and supplies can be purchased locally from petrol stations.
BUSH SETTING & WILDLIFE
• Nestled on the edge of bushland, this property is home to a variety of native wildlife, including insects, spiders, and small marsupials like antechinus.
• While these creatures are generally harmless, they may occasionally find their way indoors.
• To minimise encounters, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed, especially at night.
CCTV
• CCTV cameras are installed around the external areas of the property.
9PM OUTDOOR NOISE RESTRICTION CURFEW
• For the comfort of our neighbours, please adhere to a noise curfew from 9pm to 8am in all outdoor areas.
• We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a quiet environment during these hours.
IN-HOUSE GUESTS ONLY
• This property is exclusively for registered guests.
• It cannot be used for gatherings or events, and no additional visitors are allowed without permission.
NO PARTY OR NOISE DISRUPTION POLICY
• We enforce a strict no-party and no-noise disruption policy.
• As this is a quiet residential area, any breach will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
PAYMENT POLICY
• Deposit: A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm bookings made more than 30 days before the arrival date.
• Balance & Security Bond: The remaining balance and the refundable security bond must be paid 30 days before the arrival date.
• Full Payment: For bookings made within 30 days of the arrival date, full payment and the refundable security bond are required at the time of booking.
• Transaction Fee: A non-refundable 2.9% Stripe transaction fee applies to all payments, including the bond.
• Statement: Payments will appear as ACCOMMODATE BLUE MOUNT LENNOX HEAD on your bank statement.
• Agreement: By making payments, you agree to our terms and conditions.
• Bond Refund: Bond refunds are processed 7 business days after check-out and may take 5-10 days to appear in your bank account.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• Standard Cancellations: Cancellations made within 30 days before arrival are non-refundable. Cancellations made 31 days or more before arrival incur a non-refundable AU$5.00 channel manager fee.
• Date Transfers: Changes to booking dates are not permitted within 30 days of the arrival date.
• Event Cancellations: Accommodated is not responsible for the cancellation of events, functions, or activities, which are subject to our standard cancellation policy.
• COVID-19 Lockdown: If travel is prohibited due to a COVID-19 lockdown, bookings can be transferred up to one year in advance with one free date change.
